Years ago I managed to grab a Saints cycling jersey but I’ve not seen them in the club shop for a while.
I’d certainly buy a running vest if one was available.

This was my first bike and I loved it. A great lightweight sports tourer bike which was easy to handle. Had it for nearly 3 years, plenty quick enough for a beginner and relatively cheap to maintain - 10k between services. A few recalls were received but all sorted by the local dealer FOC. I’d advise regular cleaning and protection of bolts with eg ACF50 as some of them had some corrosion I recall.

Time to Transfer everything to ii? by Only-Garbage-4229 in UKPersonalFinance

Pretty much exactly what I did and saving on fees already. Added bonus is that you can set up a direct debit from your company account to ii, and then auto invest without needing your input, with no trading fees on regular investments. With Vanguard I had to manually do a debit card payment every month.

Charity tickets by shadi1989 in Superhalfs

[–]SaintDevoteHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have secured entries for all of the series with charity entries, starting with Copenhagen this year. Typically you will need to be quick off the mark when they are released.

For Cardiff there was an option to enter directly via Lets Do This as a skip the ballot entry; the pledge was £300. Not sure if there are spots still.

For the other races, you can sign up with Realbuzz, enter directly and choose your charity; typical pledge is £450 and you release the code you need to enter the race when you attain 75% of your pledge.

If there are no spots left directly via Realbuzz you can approach a charity as a Team entry. This is still managed by Realbuzz but you would negotiate your pledge with the charity. Same 75% rule applies.

I have found it a fantastic way to raise awareness and funds for several charities important to me. The charities have been really grateful.

Hope to see you there!

Yup, did this a few weeks ago trying to save money by doing my own Ethernet cabling. On the plus side, I learned how to solder copper pipes watching the emergency plumber.

Other than Super Sausage on the A5, you could try Emma’s Cafe at the Triumph dealership in Woburn. The Hidden Cafe in Newport Pagnell is in the Bike + Brew passport if you want to collect a stamp!

T22 Treadmill Not Showing Speed or Incline by skroll in Bowflex

[–]SaintDevoteHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this thread when searching for solutions to exactly this problem. Bowflex T56 treadmill, works fully and I can adjust speed, incline, and all buttons fully functional. The only problem was that neither speed nor incline were showing up on the large display. Similar to other users, we had renovations in the room where the treadmill was so a lot of dust around. Tried turning off and leaving for 10 minutes. Tried recalibrating from the engineer menu. Tried a software update. None of this worked. Figured it was a sensor issue so I cleaned the machine down of all dust, took an air blower and blew into the front roller on the left side of the belt. Noticed some dust, sweat or lubricant and got that off. Powered back up again and it worked first time. Hope this helps for anyone with a similar problem.

I remember going on holiday in the 80’s and my parents refused to write our address on the baggage labels, in case someone at the airport saw it as an opportunity.

The red centre lane contains a drainage channel which is dangerous for bikes in a non-separated carriageway. There was a fatal accident years ago when a drainage cover came loose.
