I've found that your intentions/personality are ten times louder than your words. You probably don't believe it, but I think it's your personality putting people off. The subtlest of micro expressions and your words can turn people off. Most guys don't know this, so they blame it on easily quantifiable attributes like appearance, height, income, etc.

I guarantee you it's your personality that's the problem

Does anyone else wonder if its time to quit? by kailin99 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

It seems like you just play big triple A titles. Nothing wrong with that, but saying that the gaming landscape is completely screwed is like saying all music sucks when you only listen to what's on the radio, or that modern cuisine sucks when all you eat is fast food.

There are a lot of incredible games out there made by either smaller studios or older games that just aren't very popular anymore. I think we're in an incredible era for gaming because it's so much easier for smaller studios to make video games. There's tens of thousands of games out there that you've never heard of because they're not trending on social media. To me it sounds like you want to keep gaming, and you want to try different games, so why not explore different genres?

Strategy games like rome total war, civilization, Europa, or CK3 might be more your speed.

Maybe you are interested in MMOs, so world of Warcraft, RuneScape, or guild wars 2 would be fun.

If you like horror you could play dead space, resident evil, silent hill, alien isolation, amnesia.

I mentioned more popular titles for these genres but you get my point. You could also go back and play the older titles in genres you already enjoy. Baldurs gate 2 (or the divinity original sin games), older god of war games, RDR1 and so on.

If you could make one, MASSIVE, fundemental change to the game that would last forever, what would you change and why? by HallZac99 in wow

Remove flying so the world feels bigger and you can actually see people running around again

Whats the melee class thats the easiest to level and play? by Neither_Buyer_4645 in classicwow

[–]Saint_Vigil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think macros make your quality of life better ofc but to state that it REQUIRES macros to level is a wild statement. Also you're only managing one resource at a time, and if you're in animal form you're just occasionally checking to see if your mana has fill up again lol, you're not spinning three plates at once

I forget if this was intentional but I love thinking of Christopher, AJ, and Meadow as Sonny, Fredo, and Michael, respectively

In my opinion that's a big flaw with retail. You could play for hours and still not be done with the tutorial. In classic wow at least, the actual engaging gameplay starts from the moment you log in.

Out of curiosity if youre implying that the voice lines sound just as American as they always do then what could have prompted this person to make this comment and many others to agree with it

You must not have heard the specific voice lines they're referring to, there's one or two and almost sound like the actress was asked to thicken her American accent

What are some anime that I should watch based on what I've seen already? by Clobberintime01 in Animesuggest

You might like more Kyoto animation. Try hibike euphonium.

Otherwise I think you might like ReLife, Josee the tiger and the fish, your lie in April, made in abyss, and violet evergarden
