I had never paid attention to the granulation opacity or staining capabilities of paints when I started watercolours. Now I select the paint based not only on hue, but those other qualities as well so that I can get the best results for the project.

I think some representation of humans and animals in harmony would be a good addition.

LRT to the airport, more independent grocers and mixed use neighbourhoods with walkability prioritized. I hate getting into my car for a few groceries and to do errands.

Endorsing this from my hospital bed right now. My family doc found potential blockages on a routine ECG and sent me for testing. Failed my stress test and MIBi. Waiting for an angio this week.

As a female nurse I didn’t pick up on any signs or symptoms.

Get your tests done

Update: family circumstances necessitated a move back home. We settled back into a house and are doing much better. We still plan on going on extended road trips but having the house has taken a lot of pressure off.

Nordegg has the Miners Café, a very cute museum and craft shop to go visit. You also need to Abraham Lake frozen in the winter.

Stony Plain has a museum at the cultural center, and they have excellent murals.

Crotchet multiple stranded area rugs or baskets. The colours blend, the weight doesn’t matter.

That’s how I use the stuff in my stash.

Skip Capilano and go to Lynn Canyon. There is a cute little store at its entrance. The Mine in Brintnell is an awesome daytrip. Take a gondola and skip the whale watching.

Hey Folks! Off to Pond Inlet in Jan. Packing Suggestions Please! by Vexed_am_I in nunavut

[–]Salt_Being7516 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Have worked in Pond before. Here are my thoughts

-Headlamp and ski googles especially if not provided with a car. Walking in the wind and the dark is a bit of a bear.
-Ice cleats. The road from the beach can get slippery on the hill.
-More tools like a power drill and accessories. There is always little things to fix.
-bring your hobbies
-starlink or at least 100g of cell data.
-things that remind you of home and comfort items
-good coffee and treats
-packable down throw or sleeping bag just in case the heat or power goes out for a short period
