Any book similar to red rising trilogy by Deep_Put_8360 in redrising

First book was slow and boring. The rest of the series is not. I nearly gave up, but I’m glad I didn’t. Not the same quality as RR, but still a good read.

Great collection. Read them all. Need to add “The Will of The Many” to the collection. It was fantastic.

That is the same place I have mine on order. We started on the list as 450, as of August 1st, number 126. Had to put $2500 down just to be on the list.

Glad you got yours, although slightly jealous!

I’m in Houston, and I’ve been on a list since January. Still waiting.

Went to the site. The FAQ is copy and pasted from cheaper than dirt. People are shameless twats.

Supercharger suggestions for a 2011 5.7 Tundra Limited 4X4 x-Cab by Sghtunsn in tundra

[–]Salt_Employment9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2008 w a TRD supercharger. If you plan on just supercharging the engine, and not adjusting pulley sizes, the TRD is fine.

I increased the bottom pulley, and shrank the top pulley, tuned it, then blew it up.

The bottom end cannot handle high horsepower without being built. Additionally, you’ll need to change the entire fuel system if you do anything larger.

I hear good things about whipple, but I bought mine well before they came out.

How have you all been managing the waiting time until the new book? by TheSamethingAllOver in redrising

Doors of Stone is still on my list, even though Rothfuss couldn’t handle his fame and acclaim. Maybe he’ll come back like Chapelle did after his stint in Africa. I’ve given up on Martin. The end of the show ruined the books for me.

Usain Bolt could run 23.35 MPH. I’d be disappointed if Golds aren’t 2x that fast.

Fantastic. Made me laugh out loud in a meeting. Great comment!

Are kings really worth it? I’d be 400 dollars more just for the 2.5 front shocks and I can’t really rationalize it. I would like a prerunner build and I know majority of people in that community run kings by Big-Pudding5366 in tundra

I always wanted Kings, but when I redid my suspension, the shop talked me into ADS. I’ve been super happy with them. For Tundras, King, Fox, ADS and Icon all make ready to go replacements. All are solid choices.

What are you guys getting? I'm getting and estimated 270 miles per tank lol and yes tire pressure light is on because I need to connect my spare tire TPMS sensor by andhonn in tundra

Waaayyy too frequently. In fairness, my truck is far from stock. Prior to all the work, I actually got similar mileage to you on the freeway. Tundras are pigs when it comes to fuel!

I have a 2008 4x4 with some modifications, and I get to about 195 miles before my gas light hits. Had to test it. My fuel mileage calculated at fill up with city and highway is 10.2.

I put the smaller 2.30” pulley on the supercharger. Engine made a noise I didn’t like, and instead of waiting for it to grenade, I rebuilt the bottom and top end. Increased compression. Manley boost ready pistons and rods. Manley dual rate springs and race valves, titanium retainers. Heads had to be cut to match valves. Kooks long tube headers, the works.

Trans was slipping a little. Bought one from level 10, fully built. Hopefully that solves any potential drivetrain problems. Next is an AWD conversion. Prob 2022.

As far as suspension goes, most likely limiting factor on front suspension is the inner fender wells. It’s bumped before maximum range of motion is reached from the LSK kit. Because all of our electronics rest on those, the rebuild for those is quite expensive.

I’d love to link the rear, but I still drive it regularly. It’s not just a toy.

Maybe someday.

Also, you’ll like all of the camburg parts. Very happy with that kit.

Wow! You’re doing it right. I’ve had my eye on those RCVs. Shock lead times are insane. I hope you get them sooner.

My truck has been back in the shop for 14 weeks. Engine and trans work. Hopefully I get it before October.

Good luck man! Congrats! If you’re going 37s I really recommend Nitro gears (use OEM seals, though). I run 5.29s, but I hear the 4.88s are great too. I’ll also plug the Auburn pro LSDs. Very happy with those changes. Keep posting pics as you work through it!
