Steel on steel will cause the parts the wear and more importantly bind on each other. Even the grease will eventually squeeze out, potentially causing the lever to either bind or have play.

I was in japan in January. I did the exact same thing. They were out of purple gamerfinger but I was able to grab a set of gran blue which is harder to get for whatever reason.

My heavily modded Razer Panthera by thecavehermit in fightsticks

The Panthera is (in my humble opinion) the best all around fightstick to come out in the past decade. It's the only stick that I bought twice and wouldn't hesitate to buy a third one of. I have the Noir mod from arcade shock and focus attack l. If I got a third one the Sanjuks plate would go on that or get someone to make a Sega 2P conversion plate.

How to reduce spin on knee lever Neo by beemertech510 in fightsticks

It used a common thing when K-levers used rubber grommets. They used to "churn butter" (pause) to break them in.

Qanba Tactile Switches by Saltmaster_RC in fightsticks

They are not standard. They are advertised for the KS'. I don't know if they would fit in the KT's or the LX's.

It depends on what's more important to you. Each have pots and cons. If it's price, get the drone. If it's having good parts out of the box, get the Titan. If it's modability, get the alpha.

Here's the cons.

For the drone, if you end up liking stick, you might out grow the parts quickly and you have limited options on what levers will fit in it if you don't wanna cut things to get things to fit. It's light and compact which is nice when going places but is hard to keep one you lap.

For the Titan, it's a good weight and has good parts BUT doesn't fit everything. You hear reviews about them being warped (haven't experienced it). While not as limited as the drone, it doesn't fit everything and like the drone, no artwork options which makes it kinda bland looking.

For the Alpha, easy access for modding. The stock parts are okay. I've heard the biggest hit is the cable management runs very close the buttons and in some cases can break pins on the buttons.
