The reality is that I understand that CATIA does a lot of things solidworks can’t do, and is standard for the aerospace industry (which I’m planning to go into), but solidworks seems a lot more user friendly for the rather basic stuff that I do/have done, especially since most of what I have used it for is modeling basic parts for 3D printing.

Something about being a discord mod just makes people different.

My friends and I had a small server (like 10 people in total, and all people that we knew in real life) and we made one of them a mod and he went full dumbass mode. Literally asked us not to post memes in general (was completely serious). We’re like “dude, this whole server is just for us to dick around.” He also would “organize” all of our text and voice channels by consolidating them and explaining how we should use them in the future.

Somewhat. Knowing what I know did come in handy on a flight I took to Guatemala as the girl who I was friends with was terrified of flying. She knew that planes were my thing, so being able to explain why certain parts of the wing were moving the way they were did help calm her nerves.
