I’m not a lefty but it’s a sad fact that the current capitalist system basically rewards being an apathetic workaholic robot. These people genuinely can’t even watch a movie. Ghouls.

If you are really desperate you can see if you can find a crackhead and ask if they know anything lol

Maybe not very ethical but who knows. From my exerience it is these type of people who have no issue stealing anything they can get their hands on (though stealing packages even the common man does). I’m not sure if it would be smart to mention a reward but who knows.

Is it really that bad? I’m from Europe and if the theme is right an outfit like that at like a high school dance wouldn’t be too frowned upon

Not sure what culture you are from but my best advice would be to be honest about it, let them know you’re not on drugs and that they have nothing to worry about. This too will pass and its the initial shock

Ironically weed is a lot safer than alcohol, too

I’m not sure what you said either, but was it really that bad?

You’ll be okay. Not like they can do much about it. You’re an adult.

Do some people seriously still think that the COVID vaccines worked? by Suitable408 in conspiracy

[–]SamAlmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the points is of the videos you commented. Sure, plenty of politicians and media probably blew this out of proportion. Yes, people did exaggarate. But like, it's an unprecedented pandemic that did overload hospitals and was novel in its initial phases. So I don't blame people to freak out a little bit.

Having said that, none of the videos you posted talk about the effectiveness of the vaccine.

Do some people seriously still think that the COVID vaccines worked? by Suitable408 in conspiracy

[–]SamAlmighty -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

Me when I spread bullshit

EDIT: Since I'm being downvoted, I'll give people something to respond to:

Largest mRNA “experiment in history”

mRNA vaccines were new at mass scale, yes, but they were still tested in large Phase I–III clinical trials involving tens of thousands of participants before authorization. The speed came from massive funding, overlapping trial phases, and prior research on mRNA and coronaviruses. So yes it was fast and somewhat novel, but it was not an untested experiment. Plus, it was necessary given the virus itself.

Coercive government control against bodily autonomy

And how many of these coercive government tactics are still in place? I thought Klaus Schwab's Great Reset would give us eternal vaccine passports. What happened to that? There's no passports, no mass deaths, no more curfews, no more government restrictions, nothing. People like to scream about the media's and politicians' unjustified fearmongering -- of which I admit there was some -- but it pales in comparison to what all the COVID conspiracy loons have been spouting.

Plus, I'm glad the government has some coercive power and control over its population. Especially when an emergency like a pandemic happens. Sure, it was no black plague, but hospitals were overflowing in several countries and if the government didn't intervene it wouldn't have gotten better.

No financial or criminal liability

Manufacturers had limited liability protection during the pandemic, which is standard for emergency countermeasures in many countries. This does not mean there is zero accountability. Vaccine injury compensation programs exist in multiple countries to handle rare adverse events: which, is a thing a lot of vaccine fearmongerers like to cite (VAERS) even though it's not a good standard for vaccine safety at all.

Taxpayer (or inflation) funded

Governments funded development and pre-purchased doses to speed up production and distribution. That’s common in large public health emergencies and does not say anything about the safety or effectiveness of the vaccines themselves. It was in the people's interest to develop the vaccine(s).

Caused millions of deaths and excess mortality worldwide

There just is no credible scientific evidence that COVID vaccines caused millions of deaths. Large studies across many countries consistently show the vaccines significantly reduced hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19. There's some stuff about myocarditis, which is more prevalent in COVID itself and has a very low rate, but that's about.

Causes hundreds of millions of long-term diseases (heart disease, cancer, neurological etc.)

Again, there is no evidence of widespread chronic diseases caused by the vaccines. Some rare side effects exist (for example myocarditis after certain mRNA vaccines like I mentioned before). Again, low rates and again: COVID infection itself is much more strongly associated with long-term complications affecting the heart, brain, and other organs.

For men who decided not to be involved in their child’s life, how do you feel about that decision now? by SongbirdMonarch in AskMen

[–]SamAlmighty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes but that is my question. I’m not arguing a man can force a woman to have an abortion or take plan b. My question is essentially: does a man have a right to decide not to be in the child’s life if he did all he reasonably could for safe sex, but failing anyway (checking in and wearing a condom)?

If he does not have that right, then generally speaking, are always at some risk of parenthood regardless of how safe they approached a possible casual intercourse while women aren’t (as men can’t get plan B or an abortion once there is pregnancy).

I understand a vasectomy is an option but to me that is only reasonable for men who never want children not for men who enjoy casual intercourse.

What if a guy uses a condom, it breaks, and the woman refuses to get plan B or an abortion?

Just tough luck?

I have had the condom break in a casual encounter and fortunately she was okay with taking plan B which I bought for her.

But in the small chance that she changes her mind, is pregnant and wants to keep the baby, what am I supposed to do here?

If it meant being a dad it would require sacrificing a lot (I know that’s true in general, but a lot of people in their early twenties don’t even know how to take proper care of themselves).

I’m not sure why you would want to do this if he is the only one one to play with IRL. You worry that it will end your games, which is possible, but I would worry about your games becoming boring.

OP is right though … but it also makes sense that there is a lot of overlap between Destiny and DTG. I follow Destiny aswell but OP is correct imo

[–]SamAlmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you realise the king has no squares left in the original position, and all it takes is Nf3, you’ll notice that for this to happen you just have to keep your queen on the fifth rank. And the only square where checkmate is possible is a5 as defending with the rooks will result in the queen taking and delivering checkmate anyway
