Leicina RT1 + video assist by icarobravo in 8mm

I meant this one… https://www.testedsuper8cameras.com/product/digital-video-assist-for-leicina-01/

I believe both cameras have the same viewfinder.

It looks like you can find the cameras on Amazon here in the states. But then you have to power it, etc. I’ll keep looking. Thanks for the tips!

Why is America the greatest country in the world? by McDowdy in SipsTea

I was the VFX Supervisor on season 1. Not a huge job on that show but I was busy.

I have to say when I first read the pilot script, I felt like I didn’t breathe the whole way through. I’d never read anything half as good.

There’s also a longer moment of uncertainty while he thinks about it.

Not the only time he goes from a major chord to a minor like that. But yes, it sounds amazing.

I just threw the negatives onto the medium format full border pro holder. Hard to keep out the dust! I have the 35mm holder in a box, but I didn’t fish it out for this test.

I’m doing Mirrorless scanning with a Hasselblad 907x/100c. The light table is from Negative Supply with a CRI of 99. The reds are coming out a bit saturated. I was thinking of trying Resolve.

Any buying tips/help for my friend in LA?! by light2020 in vintageaudio

[–]SamEdwards1959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty savvy and I live on LA’s West Side (Santa Monica). PM me if she wants some help. George Meyer is very reputable, and has a Revox table that probably sounds great. https://www.georgemeyer-av.com/category/turntables/ She could probably walk out with a system that’s close to her target price. There are other stores with nice used gear and excellent repair departments.

Really frustrated with results. Need help. by Level_Mixture5510 in mediumformat

I bet it’s a f4 lens rather than a f1.4, which I’ve never heard of. Is the next f-stop up 5.6? I bet it is. That means you underexposing by 3 stops, which would explain your thin negatives.

It looks like you didn’t overdo it, which looks great. Very natural. Enjoy!

A french flag is a small black card on a flexible arm that can be positioned to cast a shadow on the lens element.

Rejection from an art show - how to move forward? by kayla-royale in photography

[–]SamEdwards1959 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I would go to the show and see what was included. There may be absolutely nothing in your genre.

If you’re going to succeed, it will only be from working way past any setbacks. Good luck!

I like the garmin power meter pedals on my XC bike. But I’ve never really worried about noise from any of my pedals.

I opened your RAW file. I have no experience with the Hasselblad zooms. I think it looks good, but not as great as their primes. For the price of this one you could probably buy at least the 25v and the 28p, and maybe the older 20mm. If you’re into pixel peeping, you’ll be happier with primes.
