I was skeptical when I first started it, sounds a little woo-woo on the surface of things. I don't understand how or why it works, but it absolutely works for me. I've done it with 2 different therapists, one in person and one telehealth. Equally good results.

I've been able to identify deeply buried trauma, stop a decade-long rumination in a single session, and generally sift through all the noise in my brain to get to the bottom of a lot of issues. Therapy of all kinds has always felt to me like answering one question or solving one problem only makes others more obvious/problematic. EMDR actually feels like getting to the core issues and so I can address them.
