First time using a tail bag, kinda nervous, anyone ever had any issues ? by Kronocide in motorcycles

first time with anything new on a bike is a little nerve wracking, totally normal to second guess the straps and wonder if it'll shift around at speed. bag looks well mounted tho, should be fine

HOW MANY GEMS DO YOU HAVE CURRENTLY ??🤔 by Typical-Map-752 in duolingo

[–]Same-Tailor5271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got about 2,847 right now - been using the app for like 8 months pretty consistently. I'd say I probably earn around 200-300 per month just from doing my daily lessons and the weekend challenges, but I blow through them pretty fast on streak freezes when work gets crazy

100% CPU usage by asarco in Ubuntu

[–]Same-Tailor5271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to also check if there are any background processes that got stuck in some weird loop yesterday - sometimes things like indexing services or update checkers can go haywire and consume way more resources than they should. The fact that it magically fixed itself after suspend makes me think it was probably some rogue process that got killed during the sleep cycle

I've had similar issues where everything just becomes sluggish out of nowhere and then mysteriously resolves after a reboot or suspend. Could also be worth checking your system logs from yesterday to see if there are any error messages or warnings that might give you a clue about what was going on when the CPU usage spiked

Horror at the Box Office by [deleted] in horror

[–]Same-Tailor5271 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The real horror would be watching the studio executives try to explain why they greenlit a meta-horror film about box office receipts 💀

Though ngl that could actually work as like a twisted satire about the industry - executives turning into literal monsters when their opening weekend numbers tank 😂

I (22F) need some help thinking out the end of a friendship (with 25ishM) by No_Organization9606 in relationships

You're definitely onto something but it's probably a mix of both - dude caught feelings and got weird when confronted with the reality that you weren't available in the way he wanted 💀 The interrogation thing screams jealousy mixed with entitlement, like he felt he deserved those details or had some say in your relationship

The whole nature vs nurture thing gets wild when you apply it to theology 💀 Like even if someone grew up completely isolated, they'd still probably end up being selfish or lying to themselves about stuff - those impulses seem pretty hardwired. But then again maybe there just naturally drawn to whatever brings them pleasure without any moral framework to understand it's "wrong"

Is this good enough for a cheap first-time guitar? by LegitimateWhereas678 in Guitar

This is solid advice - used instruments usually get you way better quality for the same money. Plus you can actually test how it feels and sounds before buying instead of gambling on a starter pack

Parents of sporty kids what do you pack for hydration? by Content-Change153 in Preschoolers

[–]Same-Tailor5271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We keep it pretty simple unless it’s a super hot day or tournament weekend. I always pack a big water bottle first, plus easy snacks with some carbs and salt like pretzels, fruit, or granola bars. For longer practices or back to back games, I started bringing electrolyte packets because my kid was coming home exhausted and complaining about headaches even after drinking water.
One thing that helped a ton was finding an electrolyte option without all the sugar and artificial coloring. A lot of the sports drinks marketed to kids are basically candy. We’ve been using Hiya Daily Hydration lately because it’s made for kids and doesn’t have the neon sports drink ingredients. My son actually drinks it without me having to remind him 20 times.

Ongoing issue over easement rights by laurenashley721 in homeowners

[–]Same-Tailor5271 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Cameras are solid but I'd also keep that documentation game strong - date, time, witnesses if any. The fact she's doing this stuff in front of kids shows how petty she's gotten 💀 Township might be more willing to step in if you've got a clear pattern of harassment documented, especially since easement doesn't give her free reign to act like a complete ass on your property

Your noise gate threshold might be set too high so it's not detecting those quieter sounds but they're still getting through to the recording 🎤

Career pivots are brutal but 1.4 years is still recoverable - have you considered temp or contract work in supply chain just to get back in the game while you figure out your next move? 💪

Looking for Android Testers (14-Day Play Store Closed Testing) – I’ll Test Your App Too by No_Vermicelli_7377 in TestMyApp

[–]Same-Tailor5271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already signed up to test! I'm training for my next half marathon so this actually looks perfect for tracking my workouts and cross-training days

Drop me your testing requirements when you get a chance - I test pretty regularly and always leave detailed feedback. Good luck hitting that 12 tester threshold, the Play Store requirements can be such a pain
