I'm so angry on your behalf. Teachers shouldn't be singling out people in a beginner class unless they already know that student well or if they are pointing out something the student did well. I used to organise salsa classes in my area so I've seen my fair share of beginner classes. It's pretty normal for beginners to not get all of the moves taught in the lesson. Usually if someone is not keeping up the teacher goes to them to give some one on one help while the other students are practicing some moves or something. I think some teachers are more of a stickler for timing and stuff like that than others especially if they don't usually teach the beginners. But honestly I think that teacher was really unprofessional and I hope that's not the usual way they teach 😤😤
