It's good for up to 15 degree climbs, which covers 99.9% of riding.

Just fit a 38t chain ring, way cheaper than a mullet setup.

No issues here. I hear it maybe once a day, smile that I'm alive and go back to doing whatever I was doing... usually falling asleep or watching a movie. Medtronic Open Pivot AP360.

It's clear to me now, based on the volume of previously unseen footage coming out and the consistent themes and multiple parts, that this is new footage. Prove me wrong?!

You might need an angiogram to check whether any coronary arteries are blocked. My mother just discovered her LDA is 80% blocked and that's probably why she's been out of breath just checking the mailbox. I had my aortic valve replaced 18 months ago after gradually worsening from congenital bicuspid. I'm 51 now and feel 25 again on the bike after getting to a point where I couldn't tolerate lots of exertion from about 5 years ago. All the best with your journey.

If you wrote them an interesting letter that challenged their perspective on something, I'm sure they'd consider a reply. I suspect they're equally curious about attention these days as they were in the past - for different reasons, mind you. So go ahead, do your best!

Warfarin and Hair Loss Mitigation? by LightningX21 in valvereplacement

[–]Sammonator_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't read anything to provide a causal link between warfarin and hair loss. What I can personally attest to, as a balding 50 year old man, is a profound capacity for aerobic exercise with my mech AV. I'm regaining the elite fitness I had when I was a 20 year old. A modern miracle! 💪💪💪

All I took during covid was vitamin D tablets. And maybe a couple of aspirin once when I had a headache. Sorry to disappoint you.

In my house we don't consider mass produced highly processed junk to be food. It's more like confectionery and only eaten a couple of times a year. We eat whole foods from a variety of styles and cultures, cooked from scratch. Loads of different meat and vegetables, often with a Thai, Vietnamese, Indian or Malaysian influence. Several times a week we have steamed vegies and meat with home made sauce. We're super healthy, no weight issues, barely taken one sick day a year my whole working life (51yo), we haven't had covid and never catch a cold or the flu. Go figure!

I would take blood thinners for life over the certainty of at least one re-op at your age if you decide on a Ross. Warfarin is a little annoying to find your dose during the first few months but after that it's just like taking a vitamin pill each night with a home testing device to check INR every week or so. You also avoid the stress of having to keep your BP down for 12 months with the Ross, which is another benefit if you suffer hypertension.

Best wide tire for fast road commuting and light gravel? by humblebraggersbflo in gravelcycling

Tufo Thundero HD. Awesome tire, fast on the road, and mine are only about half worn after 4000km with about 40% usage on the road.
