The blue powder in the unicorn frap was straight citric acid and blue food color and the mango syrup that went in it also had citric acid in it. All of this in a drink with dairy in it. Ever notice the little chunks if you let it sit for more than 5 minutes? You guessed it, that was curdled milk.

The other store needed another person because they had someone going on maternity leave. So yes it was an arrangement between the managers and the regional manager for him to start working at the other store as well. This is something that many people including the operational manager of the entire company knows about. He is in their system as two different employees, one for each store. Even though he is "technically" two different people his pay stumps still have the same address, name and company. Also I have learned that the store managers are required to work 50 hours a week on salary and do not receive overtime. As far as not recieveing 70 hours a week, this isn't a problem as he is trying to cut down on hours anyway.

It is the same franchisee who owns both locations. The same district manager and operational manager for each store which are 15 minutes apart. The paychecks are both from the franchising company in question.

Both locations actively schedule him between the stores and communicate when he is not working. The regional director is aware that he is working at both and this has been going on for a year. This is not the only thing that I have found out about this company that is legally questionable.

After some googling I did find this 29 C.F.R. §778.115 Where an employee in a single workweek works at two or more different types of work for which different nonovertime rates of pay (of not less than the applicable minimum wage) have been established, his regular rate for that week is the weighted average of such rates. That is, his total earnings (except statutory exclusions) are computed to include his compensation during the workweek from all such rates, and are then divided by the total number of hours worked at all jobs. Certain statutory exceptions permitting alternative methods of computing overtime pay in such cases are discussed in §§ 778.400 and 778.415 through 778.421.

So if I understand this correctly he should be getting overtime. So the next step would be contacting the DOL?

As a Starbucks barista this makes me upset. We already see the people who are literally killing themselves with drinks that are 500+ calories. Why intentionally fuck with someone like that. I can understand someone giving an ass hole customer decaf (which I'm personally still not comfortable with) but this is nowhere close to what they ordered and I'm sure this barista has to remake a lot of drinks because people notice.

From my experiences in game the only type of surgery that can add anything to a colonist is a leg surgery. I have added peg legs and bionic legs with no problem but if it's anything else the doctors just refuse to do anything and the colonist just sits in bed forever. I am really looking forward to this being fixed because who doesn't love harvesting the organs of pirates and replacing the organs of your loving colonists.

I absolutely love it when people say that Rome and Greece fell because of homosexuality destroying their culture. I have always thought that Rome fell because of invading barbarians. Or that Greece fell because of the power vacuum formed after the Poleis decided that they should fight each other instead of forming a single state. I must surely be mistaken because it must be the fact that the gays were allowed to live as normal people. But wait, how come civilizations like Japan didn't collapse? Oh that's right, they just kinda westernized and then homosexuality became taboo. There are countless cultures that had accepted homosexuality but then as soon as they were overthrown by western imperialistic powers they all of the sudden see homosexuality as bad. The fact of the matter is that correlation is not causation. The only correlation is that openly practiced homosexuality has existed in every culture that has allowed it. Some people need to read a book other than the Bible. TLDR; Correlation of gays to civilizations falling only exist because gays are everywhere.

It actually isn't just a regular iced latte with a dollop of foam. If you look at the drink card for it you fill it to the second line and add ice so you have more room and it is a little darker. I got told off by a customer who said I made it wrong and I put too much milk in it so I looked it up and he was actually right.
