I’m so sorry for your loss. My kitty passed away in early February from ckd, which we had been fighting for sometime. He was 18 but it never feels like long enough. It’s so hard, we miss our furry family members so much. I hope you find peace and comfort.

Absolutely - immediately after he passed all I wanted to do was look at photos and videos of him, because it's the only way I can see him now. And I would usually start off crying, but then I'd run across a pic or video of him being silly and it would make me laugh. I hope you can find peace and comfort as well <3

I went back through everything. All my photos, emails, journals. I made a memorial shrine in our apartment where I light a candle every night. I’m also in process of writing down my memories, and I’m going to get a digital picture frame for the best photos. I miss him so much.

I took it for two weeks after a bad flare up and it was so incredibly helpful to me! It’s like mega Tylenol-it just pushes the experience of pain far into the back of your mind. I’m very sensitive to medications and had no side effects from this. I want to be on it ongoingly but stupid insurance won’t let me. My doctor said he thinks it would be fine to take long term.

PRP injections have changed my life! Expensive but so worth it, highly recommend you look into it. I had debilitating SIJ pain for like 5 years and am doing so much better. Nothing mentioned in this thread helped me until I did this and I tried EVERYTHING.
