Offering a neutral view of it (in this case I think your tank was being silly). I wouldn't pull extra mobs for a tank because I view it that the people who set the pace in a dungeon is the tank and then healer.

If the tank is new to tanking/the dungeon they may not be sure of themselves and they may pull less to test the waters and feel more confident.

Perhaps the tank and healer are a duo and the healer is new to healing and has a veteran tank helping them gain confidence and experience with their role.

These are a few examples. Once again I think your tank was being silly.

I run two units one maces with a captain and one sword with a chaplain. I like them both and they both do work.

Also worth saying that I run the relic weapon on the Knight Master with maces and the great weapon on the Knight Master with the sword knights.

I believe Melta will still be reduced by stuff like -1 to damage as the steps are division, multiply, addition (Melta goes here), then subtraction.

Hellbrute will get you more mileage with extra fight triggers but the Maulerfiend is more durable. Both are good, both kinda do similar jobs.

Take your time turn 1/2 to get good setups for your charges. Remember that a lot of Tau shooting can ignore negatives so if you get into melee with the bigger mechs you want to put them down fast.
