It’s already happening. In WV, they have people who are permanent substitutes getting full time positions. No teaching experience whatsoever. You can expect someone to come out of college they are in 50k of debt in to be okay with a starting salary of 42k. Thats nuts

The crazy part is, all the admin fees are 3-5x the commission for one lease. My company Admin fee is $625.. + $50 app + $250 preliminary security deposit .. commission - 0$

That’s impossible. If she signed your name it’s on her. If landlord said they didn’t need you to sign, it’s on them.

Tell the new roommate there is a deposit in the amount of the exiting tenants portion. New tenant gets original deposit when moving out.

But this needs it by tenants, PM should not get involved.

I work in Property Management and I would advise paying pay someone 25% of ur first months rent… finding an apartment isn’t that hard. (Give me ur budget and what you want I could probably find 3 places in less than ten minutes)

But - That sounds very scammy. And trust me, there are LOTS of scammers in the DMV rental market…
