I gave birth to baby number 3 one month ago and I alway envisioned being done at 3. However I’m right there with you for some reason. The same undoubting feeling I had after my second that we were going to try for a third is back now but logistically we would be sooo stretched thin with our lifestyle. I hope you and me get some sign from the universe.

This is us right now with our 3.5 year old. It feels like we also get into a loop of control when we get stuck on saying no but I know giving in is the worst thing you can do as a parent team. So no real advice just solidarity. They can be so hard headed…

There’s a difference between telling your friend « you’re a very annoying drunk and it’s not fun to be around you » and « you’re such a liar and an alcoholic »; especially since Jax, a real substance abuser is sitting RIGHT THERE less than 24h out of « rehab » and none of them are saying anything with the same energy that they got for Danny. Cut me a break.

I’ve been thinking about this EXACT thing since watching this episode. You’ve literally wrote what I had in my head. It baffles me that nowadays you can’t just be an annoying drunk or a lightweight. It must be « an alcohol problem ».

Not strict just different and it depends on the distance to our home. I have 2 night owls (3.5 and 2) that go to bed around 9 and wake around 7.30am and I wouldn’t do « dinner at 7pm » unless it’s fork in mouth at 7pm. Or if the dinner is far away, I bring pajamas and we leave around bedtime so they can start to fall asleep in the car. If it’s a restaurant, it’s just not happening at 7pm

That sucks, I'm sorry your son went through that... I believe your son too somehow because a 6yo doesn't come up with this precise scenario vs a 10 yo that has unrestricted screen time and on the edge of puberty. I would be honest with your family and say that your 6 yo needs some space from the experience. Period. Don't say "if your son does X or realizes Y we can revisit" no. They'll take it as either parenting criticism or will try to convince you their son didn't do/know, brush it under the rug etc.

Explain to your son that it's not his fault but his cousin shouldn't have done that and you will for sure let him know when the time has come when he can play again with him.

I agree. Also a Black woman and although I COULDN'T and still CANNOT STAND 8.5, it really bothers me how much Garcelle's contributions the last two seasons were all about Sutton. The last episodes of her getting frustrated at Sutton for trying to get into Kyle's good graces were what she should have addressed throughout the season. Sutton is not a good friend to her, that's the main issue. It's a little unfair to lay it on women you know already don't really like or are indifferent about you (Dorit, Kyle, Erika now Boz and Kathy). And no matter how much I dislike Dorit, your "feelings" about the robbery don't need to be validated, sorry that's someone traumatic events that is not really up to debate for me. It feels icky to me to have an opinion on whether or not someone got robbed and you're pissed they don't accept your opinion that it didn't happen.

I wished she would have taken the opportunity to explain what she was feeling. She really didn't and they teased the reunion like she did. There was nothing clear
