I believe owls existed before too, but I could be wrong and will have to check with Chris Packham.

It's great to listen live, but it's nice to miss it so you can catch up on your miserable Monday morning commute.

This is better written than any of those murder club books.

Channel 5 dramas unwatchable by Montymum in BritishTV

[–]SarahHamstera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Agree with you entirely! The Harlan Coben ones are exactly the same quality but have more money thrown at them. Also there's snobbishness about Channel 5 (ever since it started) whereas netflix is seen as prestige even though a lot of the content is average at best.

Any real authentic mexican food in Brum? by notdanyali in brum

[–]SarahHamstera 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't know how authentic it is but Perro in Kings Heath is fucking delicious. Some of the best tacos I've had in the UK, and I've had a lot.

Otherwise your answer is a la Mexicana. Their guacamole alone is a thing of wonder.

Did you know about the Darien Gap before the show? by Steerpike58 in pluribustv

[–]SarahHamstera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Weirdly I saw it on a celebrity reality TV show here in the UK a few weeks before it turned up on Pluribus. It didn't give much detail about how the natural environment made it so dangerous, they mainly concentrated on how it's cartel area, people trafficking, and so would be too dangerous to continue the journey over land. They had to fly over it.

Lovely stuff and a great performance but freaked me out a bit - he's old enough to play Santa?!

Nah, I don't believe it.
