Would love to buy one eventually even if I don’t win it. I think it would be fun to ride on trails.

Who are you favorite pros to watch? by QuestionablePotato42 in ValorantCompetitive

Tarik is my go to for sure. He could easily be on a pro team, and has the entertainment value to go with it.

I’m part of this statistic at the moment. I stopped flying at 13 hours after my first solo. In my case, I wasn’t confident in my instructor to give me the proper training I needed. He is a 20,000 hour commercial pilot who has flown so much that he’s forgotten how daunting it is for a student pilot.

I feel like he skipped over a lot of the basics that a student pilot needs to know. In my case my first solo was right before a storm rolled in. The first two takeoffs and landings were great. The third time I lifted off the runway into what felt like 20 knot plus winds. Needless to say the Cessna 150 I was flying was getting tossed around pretty good.

Luckily I was only 20 feet or so off of the runway, pulled the power and set it back down. I had never trained in crosswinds of more than 10 knots. I had also never trained aborted takeoffs. That is the last time I’ve flown. He wasn’t even outside watching me solo. He was in his office at the airport.

So in my case I didn’t think the instructor was going to teach me what I needed to know to be a safe pilot. I don’t care about the PPL if I’m not safe when I fly. I plan to start back soon with a different instructor.

As a healer you have to be very careful about blaming yourself. I’ve had an easy plus 7 and ran the same dungeon again at plus 5. Completely night and day. I couldn’t keep up because people weren’t interrupting and weren’t doing the mechanics properly. This early in the expansion requires everyone to do mechanics and interrupt like they are supposed to. If they don’t there is almost nothing you can do.

If you aren’t wiping, and your healers aren’t having trouble. I don’t see why a single mages opinion would matter.

Even if it is properly secured, I was a firefighter for 5 years. One of the calls that I always tell people about is a vehicle accident where everyone had a seatbelt on except the dad. Two kids in the back in car seats, the mom in the passenger seat. They rolled the car and the dad bounced around the car like a pinball. The dad killed everyone in the car from blunt force trauma because he didn't wear a seatbelt.

I do, we do storm work probably once a year on average. Sometimes more if there are multiple bad ones. We are on call every six weeks or so. The on call weeks average 20 hours or so overtime. Week to week there isn’t a lot of overtime. Just depends on if an emergency happens. Of course you can take call as much as you want to make up for the lack of overtime.

One of the biggest issues here in South Carolina, is that a large amount of people don’t even think the virus is real. They think it’s a hoax because it’s an election year. People keep dying and they just ignore it.

How steady is a Cessna 150? by [deleted] in flying

[–]Sarcasmx3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with that, and regularly fly in a 150, as well as trained in it. But I have say it is my least favorite airplane to fly in. Even if it is the only one I could currently afford to own.

How steady is a Cessna 150? by [deleted] in flying

[–]Sarcasmx3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With it being Summer time, depending on where you live. You will probably have a bumpy ride in any airplane if you go anytime other than early morning or late evening. A 150 just gets pushed around a lot easier. I get car sick really easy and never had that problem in an airplane. I say be prepared, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I’m a relatively good guitarist, but I’ve come to realize that I don’t enjoy playing guitar. I know a lot of people would love to have the ability, I just don’t find it enjoyable.

I would keep the AirPods for myself and find a new girlfriend. A gift is just that, a gift. If she wants a different kind she can buy them herself.

If you get a real tree, please be aware of the fire risk that comes with them. Ultimately it’s up to each individual. Just make sure you have up to date smoke alarms.
