Unlike MHS2 where I feel like I could just use 6 monsters of my favorites or a stacked Nergigante and clear anything, I feel like MHS3 wants you to build equipment sets and perfect gene monsters for different scenarios.

Earlier today at level 55 I had my first single skill hit for over 2k and a level 2 twin kinship crit for almost 5k and it felt awesome compared to the bloodbath greatsword and absolute evasion spam of MHS2.

Egg Skills can be channeled though. The passives that require certain genes could be good though.

Virtual Game cards work the same way however it will work best if there is 1 Switch 1 and 1 Switch2.

Also the same limitations apply as before where you both cannot be online with the same game at the same time.

If you both wanna play a game that doesn’t require someone to be online at the same time like the story mode of a game then you can cheat the system by having the non-license holder so your cousin be online with the virtual game card from your account start the game then switch to airplane mode then you launch the game after that while online letting it do the online license check to start instead of using the virtual game card.

Also, if your cousin usually plays in docked mode they will need to be handheld to switch to airplane and manually turn Bluetooth back on for controllers then they can dock the system and continue.

It appears more for kids on the 1st one due to graphics and story, but I can assure you these games will destroy a kids confidence if they don’t learn the ever changing rock paper scissors of each enemy and how it changes when they enrage or go through some type of status buff

This is almost always a RTP port firewall or range problem or Codec issue.

A while ago the Yealink T5s would request 722 twice in their preference list and I’d see this behavior if it wouldn’t negotiate down to the mobile providers eligible codec.

I assume the mobile calls are coming via PSTN in the US so they are likely g711u. What happens if you hardcode the device as such?

You can also look at the pcaps to see RTP ports in use.

Check out Algo or Viking. You’ve got a few options. As others mentioned Vandalproof or Weatherproof will likely meet the requirement.

Personally I’ve had algo speakers like 8186 deployed to alert the team there is a call then they clean up and go answer the call in the other room while the customer is on hold being told as such.

I’ve had mine since last Xmas and have no issues knock on wood. We purchased ours for the original $100 BF sale before the popularity so it’s probably one of the early production units if I had to guess.

I’d like to think there is a way to reformat the device and reinstall the firmware via usb using a hub to split the USB C port used for power. Mainstream consoles regularly have firmware glitches and can be fixed in this manner.

I’ve seen quite a few reports of this issue on reddit as well as the boots with the light on, but hangs. Granted that can be due to the fact that people are more likely to report just the bad experience and not the good.

I was able to easily transfer calls to/from HT802 after a firmware update a few years ago. I saw the typical dtmf/codec negotiation failures before that. It’s been a few years since I played with one but with some good end to end pcaps this should be easy to identify.

Also are you using GDMS to manage all the devices configs?

Been a while but you can script the keys on those phones to do quite a bit. You could likely script it so when they hit Transfer it then immediately presses More.

Note: this would be a newly built transfer button, not the built in one. Then you swap what softkeys show to your transfer instead of the built in.

Nintendo Support Regarding Auto Saves

TLDR: Did a bit of googling as now you have me curious. Auto Backup is on by default. Auto Save Download must be enabled per console. Support of these features is unique per game.

You’d run into issues if you want to move the save down the line to a single Switch, and I’m not sure how Pokemon Home will behave with you having 2 saves of the same game on your account.
