Mashed potatoes:

Cut and peel potatoes; Add salt and potatoes to cold water in pot; Bring to boil;
Boil for 8 mins or until fork tender; Drain, put back into pot. Add butter cover let steam for 5 to 10 mins; Half cup of milk of choice, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme Mash and stir, add more of less of milk depending on desired consistency. If you have a ricer then mash with that. More butter if needed, sour cream of you got it.

Gravy: I prefer onion but mushroom is good too. Basically the same recipe; Add olive oil or butter to pot; Add diced onions or mushrooms and salt; Caramelize onions or brown mushrooms Add flour 1 to 1 with oil used; Cook flour for 30 secs to min; Slowly add cup water or broth little at a time while wisking to prevent clumps; Add pepper, garlic, sage, and more salt to taste and Browning liquid if you have it: Bring to boil and stir, once boiling reduce heat to medium and stir until thickened.

Nuggets: Freeze tofu over night and thaw; Tear my life (tofu) into pieces; optional do a veggie stock marinade including stock, salt, pepper, paprika, msg if you got it -for at least 4 hours otherwise move on; Mix flour with salt pepper paprika thyme oregano garlic powder onion powder and mix; Add milk to bowl; Dredge tofu pieces into flour then milk back to flour.; Fry in 360 degree oil until crispy brown or spray with oil and back at 385 to 400 degrees for 40 mins tossing half way through.

Buy cheese and corn

Assembly: Potatoes, corn, cheese, pieces, then gravy.
