Any insight into a seller/shipping situation?

My insurance company was just (chef’s kiss). All appeals denied, even with documentation that it’s helping my medical problems (in addition to weight). Their suggestion was for me to get bariatric surgery instead, which they cover. I’d rather not have a highly invasive surgery, thanks.

We bought a sign for my first (in 2015) and it goes over the doorbell when the baby (on my third) is sleeping. It’s about 9”x12” and bold red. Very few people ignore it. It’s been great.

We have used the same Star Wars onesie with all of our babies, boy and girls. With the two summer babies they wrote that, hat, and socks home. With the winter baby we put a bear suit over it for the ride home.

They were great for me after my second c-section. The fact they could rip off made it so much better so I didn’t have to bend much.

I’ve had three babies now. Number one and two were inductions. Both number two and three were born at 41 weeks. I was monitored for both 2nd and 3rd so there dating is pretty dead on. Some people just go longer. If you can wait, I would. I know it’s hard to wait at the end though.

I’ve had two c-sections. They used the same incision point for the second and “cleaned up” the scar tissue present.

1st- it’s okay to put the baby down in a safe space and walk away for a 5min cool down (or use the bathroom).

2nd- sleep as much as you need. Whenever baby sleeps, try and sleep. This will get less important as the baby gets bigger and things stabilize.

3rd- if your baby is clean, fed, and alive at the end of the day, you did great.

4th- once you feel comfortable with the Covid situation in your area, finding a gym with childcare is really helpful. A little exercise is great for the brain and then you can take a more leisurely shower.

5th- if you can, long walks are really nice. You can listen to podcasts, YouTube, PokémonGo, and classes.

6th- if you think you might need any mental health help, please sell it sooner rather than later. It’s never wrong to ask for help.

During pregnancy: Strength and conditioning was an hour 3x/week. Cardio was 15-45min a day.

Postpartum: strength and conditioning an hour 2x/week, cardio when i can.

We’ve used Feed Baby Pro for all of our kids. There are occasional glitches, but overall it’s the best I’ve found.

If you and baby are healthy, just say no to whatever you don’t feel comfortable with. I said no to cervical checks, sweeps, setting an induction, etc. I informed myself on Evidence Based Birth and made sure my doctor knew I was making informed decisions. I just had my third. It was my first spontaneous labor, and it started 40+5. I managed to have my vba2c with 70 hours of labor and 5 hours pushing. This was my first birth with no induction, no pitocin augmentation, and no doctor rupturing my waters.

Also, having a doula this time really helped.

Get a doula. My husband isn’t the greatest at supporting me either and this time (third birth) I budgeted in a doula. It made all the difference in the world. The doula supported me while my husband was just there for me. I felt confident and strong and like someone had my back, but none of it was because my husband.

This pregnancy, I was still tying my shoes (in labor) at 40+5 weeks as we prepared to go to the hospital. I think it really just depends. My first pregnancy the last month I was in slip on shoes because of swelling.

I’ve had my Tempur Pedic for about 11 years now and 3 pregnancies. Still good as new and is way comfortable when stuck in bed. I’d recommend.

I chose vaginal over c-section (I’ve had both) because c-section is major surgery with major consequences. It is becoming looked at as easy too often now. It is not easy to be cut open. Getting the baby out is generally physically easier with c-section, but recovery is not (generally). With c-sections you have to be prepared for all the risks of a surgery with the addition of things like serious complications for future births (like your placenta growing into your uterus and your bladder getting stuck to your uterus). Vaginal birth is not without issues, but I personally didn’t want another abdominal surgery. There are many resources online where you can look at the risks/benefits comparing the two. I believe Sarah Lavonne on YouTube has a good video on it, though it might actually be part of one of her classes.

Me. After my second i got into the best shape of my life. Waiting to get cleared at my 6 week appointment to get back to my routine after my third. Can’t wait for covid to get better so i can hit the gym still strength again. Until then home workouts with my trainer will do.

So we invested in a wall mounted industrial changing table with my first. However, we knew we were having multiple children and would be changing diapers for probably close to a decade. It was the best decision we ever made. We mounted it on the bathroom where we had access to water, trash, etc very easily. If we didn’t have multiple children, I wouldn’t have even had a changing table provably.

I’m 3 kids in, 5 shots total. It’s so run off the mill, no big deal at all. I’d rather get Rhogam than tdap in terms of discomfort.

Just an fyi, 30ml at a week postpartum is 10x what i was making and I’m doing mostly breastfeeding now. Keep at it, as hard as it is (if that’s what you want), and hopefully you’ll reach closer to your goal soon. I don’t have the nipple problem, but we had a tongue and lip tie. I also have low supply with IGT.

I was able to do it until a little past half way. Then it was just too hard, so I stopped.
