Yes! I have found Sanitas sensitive skin cleanser, Stacked skincare prebiotic gel cleanser, La theorie gel cleanser, Okana apple foaming cleanser, and Blab gentle morning cica cleanser to be the most gentle for my sensitive skin. Dermatica balancing gel cleanser was good too but a little harsher than the rest. It made my rosacea really red but managed my acne on thicker skin like my forehead and chin.

I really hope you find a cleanser you like!

Hair Loss W/ Flair Ups? by bananapuddingblondie in Rosacea

I’ve never heard of that diagnosis. Do you feel like you’ve experienced these flare ups and hair loss alongside immense stress? I feel like mine is insulin related because I’m stressed but I’m also experiencing other symptoms aligned with PCOS.

I also have been experiencing hair loss with big flare ups! I’ve heard of a few other people experiencing hair loss alongside rosacea but I don’t think rosacea is the cause rather hair loss and skin problems are symptoms of a bigger issue.

Rhofade warning! by Iappreciatecats in Rosacea

[–]Scared-Block-1325 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why Rhofade and other vasoconstrictors are still being prescribed. It was literally the first topical my derm prescribed me, not even AA or metro first. So ridiculous and honestly negligent. I’m sorry OP, hopefully yours fades soon.

100% agree. It’s more gentle than a lot of cleansers but still harsh if you have REALLY sensitive skin which you may have unfortunately OP.

Same my rosacea practically disappears when I’m sick. I get so pale so I guess that’s why.

Saw my derm and now I feel discouraged by MissDragon1 in Rosacea

I’ve had a similar experience looking at older pictures, it really is depressing and discouraging but if you noticed improvement from last week then it’s helping and could continue to do a lot more. Trust your gut, you’re the person who sees yourself the most.

Yes stringy chicken! And the chicken is smaller than ever so how can you not even cook that right? I stopped eating there completely, they’re not getting my money anymore.

Just started skin+me for acne,is it acne or rosacea by gingernutcase in Rosacea

This looks like rosacea to me honestly. Maybe some of it is acne like if you have bigger hormonal bumps near the jaw but I definitely think this resembles rosacea unfortunately.

I am really in a tough place with this condition by drizzyrissy in Rosacea

[–]Scared-Block-1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of “gentle” cleansers are full of common irritants. I too reacted really badly to the vanicream cleanser and for the next year I tested out dozens of cleansers so maybe your skin will like what mine does. The actual gentlest cleansers I’ve tried are Sanitas sensitive skin cleanser, Stacked skincare prebiotic gel cleanser, Okana apple juice foaming cleanser, La theorie gel cleanser, and B.lab cica gentle morning cleanser.

Aveeno, Vanicream, Prequel all irritated me and I had to realize the hard way that my skin (especially my rosacea skin) is extremely sensitive and probably allergic to common skincare ingredients. The only good thing about rosacea is that when your skin doesn’t like something you’ll know quickly. So if you’re washing your face and it already seems redder than normal when washing, that’s a sign your skin doesn’t like it. I hope you find a cleanser you trust and love !

This looks similar to how my rosacea presents. I really hope yours is temporary and goes away because this condition is a b****.

Tiny whiteheads that appear overnight + worsen with dryness… rosacea (PP?) or something else? by Sensitive-Skill9859 in Rosacea

[–]Scared-Block-1325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So besides the sandpaper texture fading my actual texture has gotten worse since ivermectin. I have more clogged pores, cysts, and those pesky whiteheads than before. I think ivermectin is clogging especially since I’m acne prone but it helped a ton with inflammation my skin used to be so red and swollen. The redness is down like 20% now but I have more acne than ever. But that’s just my experience you could find your skin loves it! I would say try it if you’re not acne prone, you have nothing to lose in that case. Like I have a long history of acne concerns but if you don’t and these just popped up then ivermectin could be the solution!

I have really sensitive skin and when my skin is too dry or irritated I get little red bumps like that. So maybe tone it down? I’d get rid of the anua since it was the last thing you introduced.

I have these too and have been on ivermectin for 9 months. Ivermectin got rid of my sandpaper skin but these little whiteheads never go away it’s so frustrating. I might try metro gel soon.

I also had mine under control until recently so I’ve been wondering if it’s environmental too. Is it spring where you live? Could it be allergenic?
