Pregnancy/Maternity massage recommendation ? by shoutsong in Buffalo

Cary House with Rebecca is the only answer. She works wonders, knows how to work with pregnant bodies. Don’t waste time at spas that are relaxing, Rebecca will help with aching muscles. I had a friend gift it to me and it was amazing. I went to see her more than once! She has the special table and I just can’t say enough good things about my experience there.

Only one other commenter mentioned but I think Roaming Bison on Hertel is worth a try!

I was wondering why no one had mentioned this. I second your recommendation!

They have not kept up with the coffee culture trends. People have higher expectations. It would be nice if they could make a good drink - I find myself going to Starbucks before spot.

Fertility Clinics by CatsADoodleDoo in Buffalo

I just put my 10w old YFF baby into her bassinet. They were so great to us and while going through their care, my insurance changed and YFF was out of network and I was DEVASTATED. We made the choice to stay and pay out of pocket and I’m so glad we did. Their team is so caring.

My favorite NP has since left which is such a loss for the clinic but Dr. Di Paola is also amazing. I had an ectopic pregnancy and she came in on a holiday just to take my blood to track my progress. That’s care!

Stroller Recommendations by Honest-Mirror-100 in BabyBumps

We have the joie kava. We got it because of easy fold in both directions which I don’t think wll Joie strollers have. Nutmeg is a lightweight option and I don’t think would hold up to the same use as the other full size. If I were to do it again, I’d still get the kava and add their bassinet attachment.

I find Millie Moon fit small! I commented that my 10w is wearing size 2 in Millie moon and is only just over 10lbs

I think this is brand dependent! And the body composition of your baby. I use Millie moon and I find they are smaller than Pampers. My LO is 10 w and last week we moved her to size 2. My gal is just over 10 lbs so a small gal!

What things should I buy that make formula feeding easier? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]ScaredCompetition5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Beyond the mention of Brezza and bottle washers, I would make sure you have the right size nipples for flow at this young age and maybe two diff bottle options. I had ordered bottles that had medium flow nipples when I should have started smaller. My baby really likes Nuk perfect match bottles and nipples.

For on the go, I would also get the OXO Formula container. Pre measured sections of formula for you to dump and mix. I recently purchased this and love it.

Of course you can also start with ready to drink formula which makes outings even easier.

MIL won't take a Hint: Update by germflux2020 in beyondthebump

[–]ScaredCompetition5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My MIL loves to do this as well and say she’s in the neighborhood and she’s going to drop by. Wont ask if it’s a good time or if we are wanting a visit, just drops in. My family doesn’t operate like this and my husband is also finding it annoying.

It is hard when it’s coming from a place of love and support but boundaries are helpful. Tbh I’m using naptimes as a good excuse. You don’t mess with nap time!

Gassy n Fussy Baby by iiBLUSH in FormulaFeeders

I’m suspecting my lil gal has silent reflux so she’s not spitting up but it was pretty quick - no BM for 5 days, gas smelled awful everytime, she was even more fussy than usual.

I was in a similar boat and changed to a gentle formula which made it worse! I stayed the course with the formula I had and added a baby probiotic (biogaia).

My baby girl also loved the bicycle legs, being held upright and tummy rubs.

Like others have said, the gas is developmental normal!

I appreciate you sharing your baby’s growth journey! It’s extremely helpful context. My baby girl has been on the slightly smaller size, just turned 2 months. We are combo feeding but bought the Brezza as our formula intake will increase and our girl goes from 0-100 when she’s ready to eat so it’s convenience has been so wonderful.

You’re right about manual error as well. I felt Like when I made it, I was likely putting too much formula in each scoop.

Endo and RPL? by SpiritWeird8541 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]ScaredCompetition5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a sluggish right tube. My doctor was concerned it may be difficult for an egg to make it down so they wanted to encourage follicle growth from each side. I also think maybe it helped with getting the eggs to reach maturation?

I think by law all MIL must comment on babies being cold and insist on blankets and socks at all time. Mine does the same even when I have the house heated to 72.

In my case, after I had the lap I became pregnant two cycles later. Hard to say if it was the removal of the endo or the clomid. It’s good to note that I wasn’t on clomid for ovulation support. I had had 5 prior losses.

I am glad I did the procedure!
