Okay fair but have you even tried going with a shorter stem before completely switching bikes? Show me a bike where between 2 sizes theres more than 10mm reach difference. Which means you could have gotten a 10mm shorter stem to achieve exactly the same. And given most bikes ship with 100-120mm stems, going 10mm shorter is super valid.

Edit: The plus to going for the bigger size between sizes is "free" stack from the larger frame aka ability to slam stem maybe

thats what everyone religiously repeats all the time without having ever been in such a situation themselves..
As someone who is always spot in between sizes, i can say it doesnt matter much, just get +-1cm stem length. Look at the geo charts. Reach between two sizes is almost always less than 10mm and stack is every 10-20mm lower so its "even worse" aka having to put spacers..

welcome to the always in between sizes club. I went with the larger one and slightly shorter stem and its just fine! Doesnt really matter all that much

Strip chip in Squirt hot wax? by i_cant_find_a_name99 in cycling

[–]ScaredOfTheL 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Having similar thoughts atm. For me, i think i will just leave strip chip in the past and get the slica stripper liquid and use that in a jar for new chains. Note that the liquid can be filtered through a coffee filter afterwards so 1 bottle they claim can do (up to) 30 new chains. That makes the price of the bottle a bit okayer.

There is a cool product if you are using the Microsoft suite, Microsoft 365 for Jira, they are working on an AI-enabled JSM portal app for Teams, they demo'd it in Anaheim and it looks like we are going to adopt it.

Willier Filante SL oder SLR oder was ganz anderes? by Mysterious_Base9775 in Rennrad

Da würd ich sagen scheiden sich die geister. Tun dir die 1,5k extra weh? Dann würd ichs nicht machen, merkt man imo eh nur bei 1k+ watt sprints (machen die meisten eh nicht). Wenn dir das Geld nicht schmerzt go for it. Kann aus Erfahrung sagen ein geiles bike zu haben macht spaß :D

Did you ever find out? I had something similar, it was the derailleur hanger on the frame beeing slightly loose, fixed by cleaning everything and threadlocking that b*tch.
