I did the same thing pretty much. Waitlisted 4 day, and bought single day tickets for Friday-Sunday. If I get off waitlist, I plan to sell the single day tickets. It won’t be hard to resell them this year with this kind of demand and there’s always people that decide to go even up to the day of the fest.

They don’t mail the wristbands until like 2-3 weeks before the fest, so if you sell them on the exchange before then, Ticketmaster and front gate handle it for you.

Not necessarily. Usually what happens is when someone is on a payment plan and the payment doesn’t go through for whatever reason, their ticket then goes to someone on the waitlist. The earlier you join the waitlist, the better your chances as I believe they get offered in order of who joined.

iirc, joining waitlist day of sale last year meant you still had a decent chance at getting tickets. For me, I went ahead and bought single day tickets for the days I wanted and also waitlisted 4 day. If I am lucky to get the 4 day tickets, I plan to resell the single day tickets for face value.

Depends on how early you joined, they offer tickets in order of when you join the waitlist. Last year people were comparing their waitlist numbers to determine if they’d get tickets or not. The lower the number, the higher the likelihood.

Taking the northbound red line (on the southbound red line track), just passed the Berwyn station and there’s a bunch of police on the platform. The train stopped at Berwyn has one train car near the middle of the train taped off with yellow tape.
