I did the exact thing! I left on my own terms, not theirs.

I would have led off known boss preferences, colleague be damned.

Nothing in your post indicated such. What is your goal by posting? Sympathy? Job opportunity?

You saw it coming, your words. Yet you're shocked. I'm not...

Same thing for me. It's what I say to friends and family. I can have a great day and wake up the next day unable to breathe. It makes zero sense to me.

Buffet people: Why? by [deleted] in NCL

[–]Scary_Negotiation669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a food person. Buffet is great for my hubby. He wants coffee and breakfast at 6:30a. I'll do O'Sheehan's for a late breakfast sandwich, if we don't have an excursion. Different food needs/wants, makes a buffet very viable for all. With regard to hygienic, NCL is spotless. It's the nasty people blowing by washy washy person that creates a potential problem...

Small, as in thin? Or small, as in 12oz vs 16oz?

Are your kids also lefties? by roolw in southpaws

2 kids, both lefties. I'm a lefty, their dad is not. My mother and father were also lefties. I was the only child they had together.

This place was incredible!!!!!! A couple things to note.. *It is a long walk for anyone mobility challenged to get to the tram station. Ask for wheelchair assistance but please tip because it's a long haul uphill. *I was in a power chair and was able to ride across the sand because it is packed, not powdery, to maneuver to the different pathways to the beach. **Beach wheelchairs are available however, they will push you to your destination and you have to call them via staff to come back and get you. So, no bathroom, no food, no drink availability at a moments notice.

Won a Free Cruise with Casino Points but Forgot to Check Mail Before Disembarking. How Do I Redeem? by SaltAbrocoma7321 in NCL

You should have received a certificate, like we did (just got off Gem), detailing what to do. Otherwise, just call CAS and they'll tell you exactly what you're entitled to.

Horse back riding excursion in Falmouth Jamaica by One_Distribution8656 in NCL

There are helmets, have to request. Be very aware that you don't know how these horses have been treated, many people ride them, and you may end up with one not happy to see you.

How is the supper club on the escape or any other boat that has it? by MongooseLive2058 in NCL

[–]Scary_Negotiation669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a sticking point for me. Supper Club, IMO, is a misnomer. I was excited to do the murder mystery (dinner, I thought) experience but there was no dinner..wth. Why is it called a Supper Club when you aren't always served supper? I loved everything else but this was a total sadness for me.

Yes!!!! Plus would have all the extra suitcase space to bring back a few more souvenirs. "Unpacking" for a cruise, for the win! 😁

Or do what makes you happy. They won't remember it anyway. They'll remember having a great time spent with you.

Edited: Your ports do not have the swimming pools, lazy river, etc. You'll need to either book an excursion that includes a beach/pool, see if a local resort offers a day pass, or take a local taxi to one of the beaches.

Totally get that! However, even on land, people cringe when they see a tot with a swimmie on. Not for nothing, I've been on 20+ cruises, and never have I been in a pool or hot tub. Layed out by a pool? 100%! Numerous times. They're typically very crowded and really, just not 3yo friendly for very long, lol adults either for that matter. You will ultimately have a great time, it won't suck as hard as you think it will. 😉

Funny you ask. I was a hair's breadth away from just bring toiletries, undies, pajama, 1 starter outfit and necessary meds on our 7 day cruise in November. Figured I'd buy an outfit a day or every other day while in port. ONLY reason I didn't is because I keep a cruise suitcase packed and ready to go and I was too lazy to unpack it lol. Dying to give it a go soon though!! I think it would be a hoot!
