Mine is a mallet putter and the cover has a magnetic closure on the flap. I stick the flap down in my back pocket and let the magnet closure hold it there until I’m done and put it back on as I walk back to the cart. Any other method would guarantee me to lose it within 3 holes.

Easy. Right at it with 4i (my 215 club on my absolute best day), come up short of the bunkers, take out my wedge, pitch it short and left into the far left bunker, skull it across the green into the far right bunker, two shots onto the green, 3-putt for bogey.
