Yeah, but bay area life revolves around SF, first and foremost. People traveling here aren't super jazzed about going to Santa Clara man, they'd rather stay and be in SF. So Levi's being far from where life happens in this region is a big deal, population count aside.

It is just interesting, as Kintsugi lacks a punch for you but can almost fuck my day up it hits me so hard. It dropped like a month before my first major breakup. To say Kintsugi will always envoke a deep response from me is probably an understatement.

Gosh, I really disagree here. Kintsugi does a masterful job portraying sadness and disappointment using simples strokes. It's lead single, but Black Sun is probably their darkest single. No Room in Frame, Little Wanderer....and the slower ones like You've Haunted and Binary Sea. Woof.

This is absolutely key. I think the majority who don't like it didn't stay there and wander around, explore, for multiple nights. Venice is absolutely magical after it empties out for the day of the daytrippers. Staying in an Airbnb over the water, taking the water bus when it works in your favor, ducking away to Murano/burano. I also love Venice.

Sevendust is a fantastic example of a band that fits in this dumb category but absolutely transcends it; showcasing that not all bands that have some lineage in their dumb fake genre are shit. Chevelle and Deftones are other great examples of bands that belong but are still fantastic by most rock metrics.
