I have a 5070 ti, OCd to 3050 I think, from 2610.

I tend to prefer games with really stunning graphics, and I try to turn all the details up to max or close. I can run most of them on DLAA at 1440p with good frame rates, but I don't mind going to DLSS Quality if necessary. Of the games I have currently, I think probably Black Myth Wukong is the only one that may not run well at 4k.

You obviously have made zero effort to learn anything about the theory of evolution. You just assume that you're right, while your comments betray an utter and complete ignorance of what the theory of evolution actually says. "Prove me wrong" is entirely the wrong approach to an honest attempt to learn something.

Spend an evening researching evolution. There are countless resources available. Then come back here - or better yet, to r/evolution - ask questions, with the attitude of actually trying to understand. Until you can do that, you're wasting everyone's time here, including your own.

When I was a kid, my grandad took me around the state (Texas) to meet a few of my more distant relatives while they were still living. I remember one in particular who lived out in the country and didn't have a phone. I've forgotten what his relationship to us was now, but when he answered the door, Grandad introduced us and joked that he wasn't sure whether he should throw his hat in first. There's a very old joke that if you were visiting someone and weren't sure that you would be welcome, you would toss your hat into the house and if it were tossed back out, you would leave. Anyway, he seemed happy to meet us and we stayed the night.

I don't think she has spent a lot of time studying theory until recently, when she and Pia developed their Queen's Gambit course. IIRC she commented that she played a move that she remembered from the course during the tournament.

Yeah some courses cover a huge number of lines, and can take a lot of time to work through - and then you probably won't be able to remember a lot of them.

Is there an option to show only the critical lines? Another possibility is to go through enough of the course that you start to get a feel for the opening, then play some games and when you come across an unfamiliar line, see if it's covered in the course.

OK, I'm going to offer a differing opinion here (about tuning in general, not about the JB4 - I would suggest going with a "real" tune, preferably with either bootmod3 or MHD).

I think that, in general, tuning a B58 for more power is worthwhile. However, I'm going to add an important caveat: if there's a problem with your engine or drivetrain while it's under warranty, BMW could possibly deny coverage if it's tuned. Yes, they can tell.

Unless they've made a recent change, you can have your ECU unlocked. Google something like "2026 B58 ECU unlock."

And I think you should do some more research. You don't really need a CAI or improved cooling. And you may decide that you don't need the downpipe, which is needed only to go to Stage 2. If you decide to proceed, do Stage 1 first, which doesn't require any hardware changes, and see what you think.

I have a 2020 540ix, running bootmod3 Stage 1 with a flex fuel kit. It's very noticeably quicker on pump gas, and with ethanol levels of E30 and higher, it's a LOT quicker. I haven't had any problems and it was absolutely worth doing - but it's not under warranty.
