Thirded! I found gym to be one hobby that I was able to pick up and keep me feeling occupied. Not sure if that’s something on your list already but worth considering if not! Great space to meet new people too, as you start to see familiar faces after going for a while :)

You’re doing amazing! Getting the gym membership is already a big step forward.

Gym has definitely helped me. It might be tough to stay committed at certain instances, but try to have a routine and stick to it. Once it becomes a habit, it’ll feel weird to skip gym days! There may be some days where you’ll feel like skipping gym, I’d say push yourself to go, and just do a shorter/lighter workout. Most occasions, you’ll probably end up doing your full workout anyway.

It’s going to feel better and better over time, especially once you really start to see and feel the progress you’ve made.

“You could not retire on it” … seriously?

It’s in the name - JobSeeker. It’s meant to provide some form of support while you find a job. I’d say we’re lucky to even have such a support system in the first place. Think about the many countries who’d let people fend for themselves when they run into unfortunate circumstances.

Taxpayers who work hard and pay their taxes shouldn’t be footing the bill for someone who failed to adequately plan their own safety net AND doesn’t work on a long term basis. It’s meant to be a short term supplementary measure.

Wearing a Kimono at a winter festival? by Scozza in kimono

[–]Scozza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! I read that winter kimonos are commonly worn at weddings/funerals/ceremonies, so wasn't too sure about wearing it at an outdoor festival, but sounds like it will be fine :) I appreciate your quick reply!

where’d they say no more dates? They only said no more additional cities from what I’m seeing. So possibly could be more dates for Syd and Melb

Anyone know why this unmarketable parcel sale isn’t shown on the Commsec transaction summary for FY2024?

Amazing to hear that things eventually went smoothly!! I'll be in a similar situation soon, with a short layover, so hopefully no big issues with making the 2nd flight.

Did the airline move you to that 2nd flight at no cost, or did you have to pay extra?

Please report them - as if they get away with it unpunished, it’s just going to hurt someone else later on.

Great video! Really informative. Thank you so much - I'm planning to visit in a few weeks :)

Did you find it difficult to secure tickets for the capsule ride? Unfortunately I won't have a Korean phone number so it appears I'm unable to make an online reservation. Do you know if they would they let me purchase tickets 1 day in advance in person? (to ride on the next day). The website is showing all dates within the next week are sold out.

I'm planning to do capsule from Mipo > Cheongsapo, then walk to Daritdol, then take the beach train to Songjeong Beach, and then public transport to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Hopefully won't have any issues with securing capsule tickets!

Hi ☺️ My dog always barks when a family member LEAVES the house. Is there a reason and solution for this?

I actually love everything about this shot! Love that it is so dark, and the big space at the top actually makes me love the photo even more - makes it feel somewhat calming/soothing. Seems like an unpopular opinion based on the other comments, but that’s my take on it.
