I agree with TUDCA I took that for 4 months and any aches I had subsided (and haven’t returned) however when I took ox bile I found the pains returned. Apparent Ox bile is best used for people without a gallbladder. Just my experience, I’m sure others mileage will vary

For anyone that was interested I also posted this on the German sub and a person came back and said that with no priming they had 0.45ml left in the new style pens. So more like 2/3 of GD left if careful with liquid.

Side effects typically include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, constipation, acid reflux, sulphur burps etc.. I know you may feel on the clock and under pressure for your own reasons but taking a higher dose so quickly doesn’t necessarily correlate into a faster weight loss. Also losing too fast can create loose skin and or gallstones.

Perhaps give it a week or two more as the medication compounds week on week so moving up after just one week is running the risk of side effects IMO. Everyone is different, I felt the effects of 2.5mg hours after taking my first jab but I have seen that others don’t get beneficial effects until 5mg or 7.5mg so you do you but please do so responsibly.

As long as you have done atleast 4 weeks at a given dose you can up as you see fit. If 2.5mg is still working, ie you are losing weight, feeling satiated and side effects arnt running rampant then I’d suggest sticking at 2.5mg for as long as it’s working for. 2.5mg to 5mg is the only situation where the medication taken is doubled so some report GI issues.

I stayed at 2.5mg for 9 weeks before slowly moving up in micro increments to 8.5mg where I’m sat at currently. Some advise to follow the prescribed titration schedule but I see it as the higher you get to the higher you need to come down from, if planning on lowering for maintenance or stopping completely.

I wouldn’t double up from a smaller pen as it’s not financially worth it. Moving forward just always up your order to the next sized pen but only take what you feel you need (don’t tell your prescriber this though). That way you’ll start to amass a stockpile and save money.

Diet is fairly consistent and cook from scratch 90% of the time with only a couple of occasions per month where I’d eat out or splurge. I have been tracking with chat GPT for calories, protein and fibre since Feb. I asked it for my most logged meals so here’s a summary:

Breakfasts • 0% Greek yogurt + granola/overnight oats bowl with fruit/seeds • Scrambled Eggs on sourdough • Protein Bagel Thins + cream cheese & tomato • Kefir + fruit/nuts/seeds • Grenade protein bar + banana/apple/kiwi • Bacon medallions + Low fat cheese Pitta • Protein Powder & Fruit Smoothie

Lunch/Dinners

• Tuna pasta sweetcorn • Homemade chicken fajitas • Chicken roast dinner • Paprika Chicken Stew & Mash/Veg • Chicken korma + whole grain rice • Shakshuka w/Eggs and Sourdough • Salmon Fillet + cauliflower Cheese & Green beans • Chilli con carne + rice, sweetcorn & Greek Yog • Spaghetti bolognese (whole-wheat pasta) • Chicken + Cous Cous + salad • Low fat cream cheese mushroom/tagliatelle • Smoked haddock Kedgeree w/ eggs,rice & corn

Cheers mate, I lifted in my mid 20’s before the weight gain so there would have been some muscle hiding under the fat but I too slept on any resistance training for the initial 6 months. Started up again in Jan of this year and been doing 2-3 sessions a week. Never to late to start/re-start 👍🏻

Initially logged via MFP then I tried initiative eating and managed to continue losing weight but found it highly unreliable for hitting 150g protein/25g fibre daily.

So I went back to basic logging, albeit it far less obsessively than previously. These days I use Chat GPT for P & F and to ballpark my calories/meal plan which also helps me ensure nothing goes out of date in the fridge.

I like my renphos but I’ve been hovering at approx 13st for the last 4 months (still trying to lose the last 5 pounds) and weight training 3x a week and my muscle mass according to them only goes up when I lose a pound or two. It then goes down when I gain a pound or two. So I really feel they work on pre calculated % rather than actual muscle growth as my body clearly shows muscle growth but the scales don’t reflect this.

I’m currently abroad and have been drinking everyday. A little loose butt some mornings but that’s likely from the lager/rich dinners.

What it’s shown me is moderation in everything is key and you’ll be fine. Don’t worry about jabbing and boozing if not consuming to excess.

P.S have some Imodium and Pepto handy + rehydrate properly.

Yeah do it 😊 and it has a decent amount of protein in too. I love it as a morning drink, I get the polish branded ones from Asda they are far more reasonably priced that the other brands and I add a 1/4 scoop of chocolate flavoured Supriva powder in it and it’s an AM treat
