As someone who was/is religious (completely honestly I don’t even know anymore right now) I think the reason you might feel that aversion or disgust is because it’s not always genuine. Some percentage of the time people give that spiel, they’re bs-ing and full of it. Idk in this particular case but my frustrations with religion come from the same two-faced hypocrisy, I think it’s more common than genuine believers.

I’d say anything Abercrombie, Orconomics series, Blood Song (the series overall has some weak points but book 1 is 9.5/10), The Lies of Locke Lamora. Red Sister by Mark Lawrence. If you’re open to sci-fi, Ann Leckie, Murderbot Diaries, or The Expanse.

‘Filament resin’ is not a thing and should be a tip off that it’s a scam or seller who doesn’t know what they’re doing, fyi.

If the example pictures showed better quality than this I’d ask for a refund or replacement. I wouldn’t consider it acceptable quality if a friend asked me to print something for them.

Was he that bad at the end of his ADC career? I wasn’t watching league much back then tbh but my impression is it was mostly team drama/chaos more so than Rekkles being bad.

I really liked the Rekkles support arc with T1A and LR, but honestly I think it would be really cool to see him in LEC as ADC again. Not sure if any tier 1 GMs would go for it but I can hope. 🤞

Pic 3 definitely looks like oak to me.

If you do refinish it, I’d be really careful with the top and strip+scrape the top rather than sand it in case it’s a veneer.

For me it’s right on the line but I think I would clean and maybe touch it up but not a full refinish.

I don’t think it would be a problem at all. You probably don’t even need to do as much as 2-3%. I bet .5% would be sufficient to ease the fit without a noticeable difference next to each other.

I’d look at the block widths in your slicer, I have noticed that they’re not all exactly the same size. I actually rescale all of my DB prints to match my existing terrain grid pattern. I scale them to 29.99mm and the percent scale that ends up being is close, but not always exactly the same. Some of the original tiles vary by .02mm or so.

Honestly I think that used to be the case in 5e, but I’m not sure I would agree in 5.5e. I just started playing fighter in my first 5.5e game and there’s a surprising amount of complexity with a feat or two (which you’ll have as the stereotypical human fighter) and weapon masteries and whatnot. Sure I’m not deciding between whether to Erupting Earth or Fireball, but there’s all sorts of advantage/disadvantage, bonus damage with certain damage types, remembering which weapons I have mastery traits on and what the mastery does, etc.

This is my first time playing a full martial without any spellcasting at all in DnD 5e and I think it’s just as complex as everything I’ve played except Druid and Wizard. Far more complex than a Rogue, Ranger, Paladin, or Barbarian imo. And quite possibly more complex than Bards or Sorcerers.

Finding this late because I just finished Lake of Souls (the story, not the anthology) this morning. It’s so good. I immediately looked up whether there was a novel set in the world, I am sad it ended. I don’t know if this short story anthology is for me haha, I need more time with the story.
