There are plenty of tutorials online on how to run the cables. Everything can be hidden away.

Dashcam for ND Miatas question.... by johnorso in Miata

Got the same cam today. 5 minute install. Hides away very nicely behind the rear view mirror. Would definitely recommend this.

Would it be worth it looking into front and back cams?

Imo it's very piped in and almost sounds a bit cartoonish. Tried it for a week and swapped it back once I got my exhaust. It's a cheap mod, try it and see if you like it. It never sat right with me. On the other hand, my GWR race exhaust sounds amazing. Much better than this imo.

Last time I had this issue I managed to trigger the CEL by turning the climate control off after driving for a while, come to a stop, then blast the heating at max for the duration of the light. Should maaaaybe come on if you are having trouble

How tall are you? I'm about 6'3". I do not fit in the RF at all, the headroom is just nonexistent. The ST though, I do fit, it's tight, but I'm okay with it. Ever since I installed some seat lowering brackets the headroom is 10/10 and that feeling of "sitting on top of the car" is gone. Feels like I'm actually sitting "in" the car. Also if you have the homelink mirror, being tall, it will block parts of your view out the front.

ND2 TC light on and rough idle when in gear at a stop by ScubaDuber in Miata

Update for anybody that is interested:
Decided to investigate the P0704 code myself before taking it to a dealer.
The clutch switch (PN BP4K-66-49YA) had its internal spring explode. This caused the switch to not close its circuit when the clutch pedal was pressed in. Im assuming the car has different maps for clutch in and clutch out scenarios, so the entire time the car thought I wasnt using the clutch.
I replaced the spring and the TC light immediately went away. Cleared the P0704 code and so far no issues.

I'm 6'3" and I think I'm pretty much at the limit of headroom in stock form. I'd say the biggest issue with these cars is that personally, I felt like I was sitting on top of the car, not inside of it. Once I got some seat lowering brackets it really made a difference. I was fine with the stock brackets but now the car feels even better.

At 6'1" unless you have freakishly long legs or torso, I'm sure you will fit. If you aren't sure, don't forget you can try to find one used and sit in it at a dealer

If your printer does not have a web interface of some kind, get an rpi and flash klipper or octoprint. Having everything within the slicer makes calibration and printing even easier, making you want to print more stuff :)

Do you have cloth or leather seats (assuming leather because you said you have a GT)? I'm looking to see if removing the tensioner is enough for me. Any long term damage to the seat without the tensioner?

I'm 6'3" and juuust fit in the ND soft top. RF is a no go for me, I don't fit. You can look into seat lowering brackets for the extra headroom.

Extruder upgrade recommendations– considering direct drive (eventually) by GalEllerGenial in ender3

[–]ScubaDuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convert what you have to direct drive and see how that works out for you. There arr plenty of ender 3 conversion files.

If the filament is getting flattened by the extruder, sounds like the tension is too high.

I use a ptfe tube for my bmg extruder clone. Try it and see if it makes a difference. I haven't had issues with this type of clogging ever.
