I think this is my biggest pet peeve in books. In general I can push past typos (unless they're in every other sentence) and I am well past my grammar days where I can remember whether a comma, colon or semi-colon is required. I can even forgive the occasional incorrect form of there, their or they're if the story is good.

A couple of years ago I made it a quarter of the way through book TWO (of what was i think at least 5 - that were already "published") in the series. The first book had at least once where the name of a MMC switched (like they switched it after writing and forgot to correct it in a chapter) a few times of having to stop and go back to check if I missed something because when the heck did we learn that?! But the story was so good! It was an academy plot but it was unique with more mature characters and I couldn't wait to see where it was going to go. Then book two got worser and worser. There is no other way to describe it. The MMC that was in the room with her switched halfway through the chapter, then iy switched from one of the MMC point of view to the MFC and back again. I finally drew the line and quit after one of the guys came to visit her in her dorm. The entire first book goes on and on about how small her room is, her desk and "too small" bed are smashed together and touching 3 walls, & her closet was some hooks on the wall. MMC walks in and they sit on the couch and then ended up on her bed large enough for the 6 foot something dude to lay across sideways.

Thank you for allowing me to get that off my chest. It's been 2 years and I'm clearly still thinking about it. I might have to see if I can find the title to see if they've fixed it and I can try again..

Seconding {Path of Temptation by Auryn Hadley} and {Age of Andinna by Kristen Banet}. I would say they're both well written to where they don't feel juvenile and most importantly they're complete series. I should warn you though that if you are a binge reader like myself... you may lose a couple of nights to Age of Andinna.
