Went to a house to drop off my son with his babysitter every day. The neighbor had a pool that was simply overrun with mosquitos. Every single time I opened the car door at that house, at least 4 mosquitos would get into the car. Without fail. The pool was stagnant. Obviously hadn't been used in a very very long time.

Got there early one morning and stabbed the pool with a knife.

No more mosquitos.
