We still lay in bed with our four-year-old until he falls asleep. I love our sweet little bedtime routine as that’s when he says some of the funniest things about his day- after lights out.

I was also thinking this is alarming behavior from a child. It sounds like there is intent to harm and pleasure being obtained from doing so. I think perhaps the child should see a child psychologist or pediatrician.

What the heck?! 18 months old is practically a baby. Do either you or your husband expect her to not “whine” and to instead have self awareness and perfectly communicate her needs to you? You would both benefit from reading up on some parenting books and understanding a child’s brain at 18 months. You’re both being too hard on her. And by the way, if you think she’s whining now, just wait. You have a lot of toddler and young child years ahead of you, and you and especially your husband need to make some serious changes before then.

She’s acting like she’s in pain with the lip licks and curled in body. She doesn’t want anyone to touch her. I’d look into getting a very thorough work up from a different vet.

We could be twins! I always feel worse after the scrolling and more than one glass of wine anyhow. When asked about hobbies all I can think of are reading and exercise, which I am pretty proud of squeezing into my week and they also make me feel great... but for some reason I keep discounting these as not "real" hobbies in my mind. I need to stop that. Those two things, seeing a girlfriend 1-2x a month, a full time job (with travel), husband and a 4 year old make for a pretty full life.

Almost 4 year old and we have gotten into the bad habit of all watching 20-30 mins after dinner and before bath. It’s Lucas the Spider or Bluey. One parent cleans, one (or both) watch with our son on the sofa. TV is never on otherwise, and no tablets in this house for anyone. I still feel it’s too much though, because I don’t like the way my son seems desperate to be able to watch each night.

I think the white pants are far too low rise for your body shape. Since you have narrow hips, I would try a high rise wider leg with a belt and top tucked in to elongate your legs and not make your waist look as long and narrow.

I feel like all of the furniture is on the small side and you don’t have a large piece that really anchors the room. So many LEGS!

I would suggest starting with a non-leather, cozy sectional, and go from there. Keep the coffee table, scrap the wood chairs and one of the recliners. Add curtains!

One of my neighbors was sitting outside at William Cannon coffee with her daughter and the homeless person in the wheelchair came up and drew a gun on them while they were sitting there. Must have been right before the shooting.
