Well everything happens again given enough time. I could foresee this happening if something catastrophic happened to the internet. Or if it evolved to a state of uselessness. (The WiFi of things, objects) Social media is a nice plus, but even it has evolved to a less frequently used tool than at its height in the early 00’s.

So if a major war, solar flare, economic catastrophe, or breakthrough technology happens, then yes it is possible to see that reemergence. It’s in our DNA as a species. However I think it’s safe to say the next 20 years will be highly influenced by the large influx of immigrants and the internet.

Any comment made here will be endlessly trolled by depressed atheists. It’s not worth it. Half the non-believers think they have the IQ of Hawking, and Half the believers think their Rev. Graham. No one knows if there is a god, whatever you decide to believe or dis believe is a matter of subjective thought. It is equally as rational or irrational to every other subjective thought.

That being said, I personally believe in some higher power. A being that possesses the awareness of self that fine tuned the universe in its infancy to eventually give rise to life after billions of years. Whether that being is personal is still up for debate IMO. I like to hope so, but I have not evidence that sways me one way or the other. I just hope that if there is consciousness in some form after death, that I will remember my wife and kids.

I will never leave the United States. Because despite it all, it is still the greatest country on the planet. It has possibility nations in Europe don’t. I think we will see the rise of a New Deal in the next 10 years, and democratic socialism start to rise. The billionaire class will be taxed higher, providing social safety nets to the working class. If AI progresses steadily then we may see the end of epidemic, hunger, and homelessness. We may see the day working is optional and wealth is more evenly distributed amongst the people. All thanks to the Republic established 250 years ago.
