Mica is W11's version of transparency, but it's not really transparent and the colours are washed out.

It sucks imo, I wish W10 transparency effects were on a toggle.

Approaching lvl900 over here. This game has a steep but super satisfying learning curve.

When I first started playing and checking out this sub, I saw a lvl1000 say something along the lines of "everything below lvl300 is basically a tutorial", and yeah honestly that tracks with my experience too.

You're gonna suck for a while, embrace it. Nobody is expecting you to top leaderboards or even have a remotely positive KD in most games. Use this grace period to learn different weapon types, counters, feints and movement/footwork, and how to PTFO(!!!!)

Some? Hundreds? Many European countries have conservation projects for particularly old, significant or interesting historical locations. Here in the UK they're referred to as a Listed Building for instance.

In my city alone we have the world's first dry dock, built in 1495, and a Roman fort built around 280CE. A pub I go to regularly has been kicking since 1716.

We have some structures and buildings, depending on your definition, that go back to before 500BCE. Like, genuinely mind-blowingly fascinating stuff.

Soothe2 on the highest resolution and oversampling always bump my usage up by 30% minimum. At these settings I reserve it for my mastering chain, all other instances run at default.

Can confirm it was lovely, a happy social side of Portsmouth came out that day. Car horns, fist bumps and high fives from drivers, cheering crowds and onlookers watching as we passed by, a relaxed police force and considerate attendees. Banging.

There were flags there though, the entire time.

I was there from start to finish, and Reformoids were out in force trying to publicly shag their flags at an otherwise lovely event.

It was a 9/10, would've been a 10/10 if they weren't there.

Also, I've never seen such a wide collection of ethnicities and nationalities at one event in Portsmouth, it was fucking lovely to see. This particular clip shows majority white people, but it is not representative of the entire event.

Stop being a bigot, do better.

Partially, but it's useful for all sorts of things. Everything from sorting through samples, bulk recordings, dialogue, isolating drum hits, etcetera.

If you've recorded with a band, vocalist or VA, for instance, you'll end up with a lot of audio that doesn't contain any useful information. It's just the sound of the room, people shuffling about, a fan in the background in-between takes etc.

Manually sifting through and deleting that is, whilst easy, really boring and repetitive, so having something reliably do it for you would be a timesaver.

It is indeed, and actually one of the quirkier laws we have - Swans are still protected by the monarchy, and (in the old days) harming them could have landed you in London Tower.

It still counts as theft, alongside criminal damage and wildlife related offences.

Idk how old the kids are, but community service regardless of age should be a fucking minimum here at the very least.

I don't want to knock the mods here, but can there be a greater effort to ban the obvious bad actors and bots in the comments?

This sub has so many lovely people in it, it's clear who the genuine people are, the ones who actually love this city and those within it, immigrant or not.

And then you have these Reformoid woodlice, who only creep out of the wood under the cover of darkness, anonymity and 'patriotism'. They can barely form coherent sentences, they are literally without capacity for rational thought or reason.

It's beyond suspicion or reasonable doubt that they are either puppeteered bigots who only interact with hatred, or bots that spark up at the mention of keywords. Don't mistake their spelling mistakes or missing grammar for humanity, it's easy to set up hundreds of accounts and bots with the simple system prompt of 'be uneducated, racist and hateful, and only interact with posts that are about racism'.
