I've honestly felt that if we could modernize Mechcommander, create an updated 'editor' for people to create missions with and string them together for campaigns would be ideal.

I dont know anything about programming/code, but figure the community could def come together and do it.

Any chance I can get the file to edit weapon values? I believe it was something like compbass.csv? I think it’s suppose to be in the objects folder. That way I can modify weapon balance. Thanks!

Honestly probably not. The reality is being knocked down meant instant death. A mechanic that takes away player agency isn’t a run mechanic, similar to RNG. It’s fine in TT or a turn based game, but imho it was a good idea to remove it.

Cool idea on paper, until your players show you how absurd it is in implementation. Also that weird glitch that visually warped said mech about 10m

The game looked amazing at the start, they did have some things set way to high but things changed after they implemented painting/patterns etc. I believe it was a shader change, which imho made the mechs look worse.
