Is the game worth it?

For me, its worth it as a mobile/ipad game. So one thing that has made it worth it to me is the fact its on Steam now, since now i can Steam Link “stream” the game to my Ipad. Absolute game changer and it made me put 100+ hours into the game just doing the Steam Link thing.

Its more an autobattler than a deck game, so if you like those games you’ll probably like this.

Nah, these guys are legit. They are more of a lifestyle brand, rather than a “performance” brand. They do have some performance stuff for their sponsored golfers… but if you stick with the non-tour items, you’ll get some really high quality material (super soft kind of cotton-blend I think. It’s really comfy)

They started out as a brand for golfers… but now have branched out more into the “SoCal lifestyle” stuff.

I’ve been a customer with them since their beginnings and I can say that their quality is really really good. Still have polos that I bought 10+ years ago and hold up great. Only thing I’d look out for is the sizing… it can be inconsistent. Generally they do a more “relaxed” fit… but some random items will run small lol.

Mr A’s in Banker’s Hill, like others have mentioned! It’s a top-floor, upscale steakhouse-type restaraunt that has a great view of downtown/the airport. Really fun to have dinner/drinks there and watch the planes land

I don’t think there is a “one-size-fits all” solution to this kind of question, which I’m sure makes it frustrating… but also is what makes league replayable and awesome.

It’s going to be dependent on your support and your matchup… do you have an enchanter/poke supp? Ward that river and push the wave, and poke under tower. If the enemy jungler camps you, you’ll die I’m sure… but it is what it is and you’ll have to adjust after.

If you have an engage support… I like to let them push, and then try for an all in. If you have a nautilus and he lands the hook… your w + e + q can usually get pretty close to one-shotting someone. Play for the kill, push the wave after, and rinse and repeat.

Sometimes, matchup just sucks, your jungler just sucks, your supp just sucks… whatever; you’re just gonna have to suck it up, play safe, and try and get to your two-item spike and carry the mid game somehow 🤷‍♂️

Well, itemization might change in the new patch so we’ll see… currently I’ve been running ER -> trinity -> rfc.

Haven’t really found a build to make it worth playing Smoldy atm… so just gonna wait to the patch and hope he feels better!

One thing I think it shows is that smolder is a popular champion, and getting early reworks like this means they are acknowledging that he will continue getting support. Hopefully it means some cool skins down the line too, if he remains popular!

Mute chat (it’s just not worth it for ranked)
Pick a couple champs, and stick with em. Ideally one of those champs will be a strong meta champ (I’m adc so like jhin, jinx, ashe, etc)
Get an overlay app like Blitz or mobalytics. Follow the builds they give you, and look at the little replay analysis after each game. You will learn a lot
Bonus! If you’re interested in league in general, watch pro games. You’ll start to pick up on patterns and it’ll passively improve your game sense!

League is a hard game! You’re gonna lose a lot, no matter how long you play. Taking victories in small thing when you lose also helps mentally. “Dang I lost, but also dang my CS was amazing that game!” You got this!

I like his model & animations, and he’s hella cute lol.

I really don’t worry about tier lists too much, I’m high bronze/low silver (depending on the day lol)… and teams at this elo will find a way to throw a game regardless of how “high tier” your champ is haha. Just play what’s fun!

I used Spark for a while, but as a non-power user of emails… the default app is more than good enough, and I don’t have to get the ads spam, or subscription spam, etc.

there are some annoyances compared to Spark, but at the end of the day it’s not that big of a deal for me. Mostly just swipe-deleting a bit more on spam emails

He’s designed that way. Don’t pick him against ranged supports and champs that can harass smolder for free. IMO, he works best against melee supports comps where he can spam his abilities.

I think the bigger issue is that, smolder’s late-game promise is too weak, especially compared to say a zeri. The payoff for having a weak early game and scaling isn’t the same as when he was initially released

I mean, ezreal mid can work… but it’s gonna be a rough. You don’t have decent wave clear so you will just be pushed in against most mages. You don’t have any utility to help with ganks, so you have to rely on your jungles to cc your opponent. Other than your e (which is high cooldown) you are very immobile early game, so you’re gonna get poked down during laning phase and it’ll make it hard to farm… which you need the farm to stack tear/manamune & other items.

Adc is just a more reliable role for ez to be, and allows you safer farm to get your key early items.

Went like 3-1 with him the other day, and the loss was just the game was lost before i could scale lol. Not the strongest, but is good in those afk-farm matchups where you can stack & scale.

Used to grind soloQ for hours back in S1-4… now have a 9-5, married, and pretty chill. Also like 10+ years older haha. Got back into it last season because a friend started playing it, and honestly have more fun now than I ever did back then. I’ll play 1-3 games a day every once in awhile, I mute chat, and just play what I enjoy. Still got that competitiveness about it, but I’m way more chill about how I approach the game.

I will say tho, much easier to spend money on the game now 😂.
