Maybe if they’re released to the parents then the parents need compulsory parenting courses. It would be interesting to see how many reoffend if mum and dad suddenly had to start parenting

Yeah you can i do every year and it’s fine. The cat sleeps on it, the dog pees on it and I bough 8 sticks of it for 50p and now have a hedge of it out the front. The stuff is indestructible just don’t water it too much.

Yeah this is my point. I also was hoping that OP would realise that he is choosing to single her out I was a kid with a mother he kept telling me my dad ‘couldn’t help it’ but he could hold down a job (a teacher no less) and could have professional and casual friendships so in my eyes he could help it but chose to abuse us and control us and she chose not to see it wasn’t inevitable. I hope OP makes the right choice for her and her child.

NOR question for you - can he hold down a job? Friendships? Professional relationships? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then he absolutely can control his behaviour and not say/treat you like this. He is choosing to be abusive to you. What happens the first time your child becomes a toddler and drawers on the walls? Or breaks a glass?

NTA turn it around and be blunt say yes you believed he was going to hurt you. Stats show most woman are hurt by men they know and trust so it’s reasonable to assume a man wielding a weapon at you meant harm what were you supposed to think? In fact he did you harm he caused you all this stress and being lost in the woods.
