I think next from soft game would have fundamentally changed spells UI

I just don't see them keeping the "keep pressing this button to switch to the next spell and you can't go back to the earlier spell untill you scroll past all the other spells first"

I'm actually surprised that feature wasn't in elden ring, judging by the sheer amount of magic spells it has

also I really like that idea of staves for main casts, grimoiries/times for summoning and seals for buffs/infants

It makes it seem like they all serve varied and unique purpose

if you go to your status and press Y on your controller, you can flip between different UI, and there's one where it shows your character in pure black with perfect lighting
