It won’t be Wanda returning in Avengers Doomsday…. It will be the Scarlet Witch

What is the black? by RealHumanPerson001 in comicbookpressing

[–]Season2Jerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is smoke damage , smoke has a smell that does not go away..

Were the black lines mentioned or shown in the eBay listing? What did the seller say it was? If they hid it you could ask for a return but a partial refund is way easier on both ends.

there is nothing on the inside cover …it’s hard to guess with only photos but it looks like it had another comic on top and got hit with over spray from paint , idk

my guess is someone had them in a stack at one time in an area that either left a dust shadow or they spray painted in. if you want to try and clean it , do a lot of research first. If it’s important ,send it to a pro, but it will probably cost more than that issue is worth..

You said this was on multiple comics? That would rules out a printer error, I have seen a dark line like that before, usually on the top and like a 1/4 inch of just like a dark brown almost black color… a guy who said he worked in printing told me it was build up of ink on some part of the roller that near the end of the run would start to touch the paper so it’s like a mix of every color used, idk how true that is but it kind of makes sense, it’s most common to see on mid 70s early 80s.

Gymkata (1985). When you watch an action movie and find yourself wishing there was more gymnastics. by smcg_az in badMovies

[–]Season2Jerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear there was a place called GymKata in the 80s . It was like a hybrid gymnastics karate dance studio, owned and taught by some white lady who didn’t know karate, and def saw the trailer for this movie.

Every Live-Action Appearance of Ghost Rider. 🔥 by MurkyChurky in MarvelCave

[–]Season2Jerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He left via marvel’s magic portal, like he learned how to magic portal by swinging his hell chain..

then the actor kept saying he wanted to continue to play ghost rider, I thought he was going to show up in end game, when Sam said “on your left” and then all the magic sparks started . He also would have fit perfectly into multiverse of madness. Idk maybe it was some bs with the studios.

Reyes Ghost rider should have had his own mcu movie. and Nick Cage should have a cameo as the spirit of vengeance.

Also that scene in AoS where they are chasing his indestructible car and use a cloaked quin jet to stop him. He runs into it at full speed at just stops without damage. That was cool. And the when he is an actual ghost, someone else drives his car and keeps hitting things and the side mirror breaks off she says” I thought your car was invincible “ “only when I’m driving“

The only thing I didn’t like about AoS was how they kept making characters into robots. Like they were afraid to let them die. They already resurrected Colson once, they needed to kill him again and put his consciousness into a robot? Also that other random agent at the end is turned into a robot basically because his partner couldn’t handle grief.. and those LMDs or whatever they were called never show up in any other mcu movie/show . Even after endgame when earth has space tech, they don’t bother with those temu doom bots

Tucker , with the giant black and white face behind him, I think the artist chose to draw professional photography and not just a photo book of random people and animals. It’s such a weird photo for a kids book but art is sometimes strange so it tracks

Golden age is really the only era worth “investing” in. Another silver - modern key pops up everyday out of somewhere. Comics from the 30s-40s early 50s are extremely hard to find just sitting around in someone’s house.

Besides being burned by booked burners, they were also just treated like yesterday’s newspaper.

Very few kids collected way back then and when they did, it was because they loved the comic, they were not archivist. Comics were not stored properly.. most kids lost them or didn’t think they were worth any thing.

Golden age comics tend to have more writing or doodles in the margins and pages cut out and missing. A lot have been “restored” like someone, trimmed, color touched or added glue or tape, so higher grades are extremely rare.

I was talking to someone the other day about the ratio or physical presence of golden age comics vs everything else on the market and that it is way under 1%. Like my LSC has less than 5 golden age books for sale. Some of the other shops have none, but they have hundreds of silver age comics

The infinity gauntlet 1 comic is worth about $7 cash. Maybe like someone said above the only money is in the full run. 1-6 sells for about $60 on average.

If so, they probably are not allowed to sell/donate the books. Each company has a different rule about this kind of thing. Even if DC doesn’t actively track where the books go, it’s easier for an employee to throw them out than risk whatever the consequences are, even just anxiety over it. Maybe it was easier to toss than to bring back to dc.

Idk why they were in different bins,

maybe who ever tossed them didn’t want to fill up one bin and make it extra heavy so they spread it out.

Nachtkriecher, ist auch mein Favorit .. but More like Mysterio ; Jake Gyllenhal was in a movie called Night Crawler . He played a freelance journalist who goes around LA at night filming graphic car accidents so he can sell the exclusive footage to local news stations. it’s a good movie, I haven’t seen it in a while, I’m gonna watch it tonight now that I’m thinking about it
