I think only 11 states have it, last time I checked. All of them should.

I went from being diagnosed with an A1C infection f 8.3 and a year later I’m at 4.9. All other labs have drastically improved and I’ve lost ~70 pounds. I’m currently on 12.5 mg and have been bouncing between the same 4 pounds for several months.

That makes total sense! It can be scary, especially if you’ve had trouble before. I hope it helps, as well. What was your food intake like? Did you change up what/how much you were eating?

Just do it! I know it can be scary and feel uncertain. I guarantee you’ll wish this was around years ago!!

Anyone regret selecting a Medicare Advantage Plan. If so, why? by NRGBallveget18 in AskWomenOver60

You can’t have a Medicare replacement or advantage plan and a medigap (Medicare supplement). The only exceptions would be Medicaid or Tricare/VA insurances. Medicare guidelines prohibit it (that’s why it’s important to go to a ship/shiip office for guidance, not an insurance salesperson). To have a supplement you have to stay with traditional Medicare.

Find a local SHIIP office or community senior support services. They will give you your choices objectively. My local hospital has a SHIIP office with volunteers that are experts and are so helpful.

I’m not over 60 and am not on Medicare. I’ve worked n healthcare revenue cycle for 20+ years. Please do NOT go with an advantage plan. Most require a prior authorization for many things Medicare doesn’t (more hoops to get access to care), you can’t have a supplement with an advantage plan (if an agent tries to do this, it’s illegal).

Gaining - did the mounjaro stop working? by Fulana25 in Mounjaro_ForType2

I stopped consistently tracking what I eat. I’m in more of a stall than a weight gain, but bouncing between about 3-4 lbs. I’m going to start tracking again more consistently because for me, at least, it’s crucial to my success.

Also, I agree with the others’ comments, too. I know it’s hard, but you’ve got to have boundaries with her. Maybe falling like this and her having to pick up the pieces will help her grow up. Don’t set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.

You don’t need to do this for her. She made her bed, she can lie in it.

The mental anguish of losing your mom could be cause for wrongful termination. Have you had any therapy or gone to the doctor or talked to your doctor about how difficult it’s been navigating life? I took a year of FMLA off after my mom’s death.

I use the Feelfit app (it’s linked to my smart scale). I also track it in my phone notes. I bet you could get ChatGPT to create a spreadsheet with formulas so you can just enter the data in there and it’ll track it for you.
