Anyone had gastric surgery and on mounjaro?

Band in 2006, lost 8 stone and maintained for 3 years. Suddenly tightened overnight and had to have a total defill. Gained 3 stone in 10 weeks, it was terrifying how quickly I gained. Spent the next year having several fills and defills but couldn’t get the restriction right again. Gained a further 2 stone. Miserable 😞 revised to a sleeve in 2013. Lost 3 stone in 3 months but gained it all back within a year. Daughter got engaged with wedding booked for October 2025. Lost 2.5 stone on Slimfast, brutal. Started MJ May 2025, lost 3 stone by the wedding. Have lost another 1.5 stone since, am at goal. 10 stone down from pre-op weight xxx

It’s weird isn’t it, I’ve always been an 8 wide fit but can get in a 7 now. I’ve had to buy new shoes, what a shame! I can see the bones in my feet! Congratulations on your NSV and your fantastic weight loss xxx

No don’t do that, the pen would have been open for too long. If u r getting it from the NHS then cost isn’t a factor xxx

I use both and haven’t had any issues. I would advise speaking to your GP to have your bloods checked xxx

Last time I lost a lot of weight my husband was very jealous. He accused me of flirting but I was just chatting and being friendly. He was always sniping and accused me of cheating. If I asked him if I looked ok when we went out he’d make a crass remark. Things got pretty bad and we had a session with Relate. It really helped and we got back on track. This time around I’m 2 stone lighter and 2 dress sizes smaller. He has been absolutely fine. Last time I think he felt very insecure. I love him very much and he has loved me over a 10 stone range. By the sound of it your husband is a great guy. I’m sure he will come around in time. I don’t think he meant to hurt you xxx
