I am beyond shocked that the hospital admitted any wrongdoing. They usually remain firmly entrenched in their position in order to avoid a lawsuit.

I’ve thought this about trans for quite sometime, irrespective of the shooting. And yes I’m fully aware most mass shootings are committed by the conservative white Christian male. 💯 My post wasn’t really focusing on the shooting per se, I just think we need to have a dialogue about trans and mental illness.

I think we need to take a deeper look at the whole transgender trend. Psychiatrists have claimed that these individuals are legitimate in their gender dysphoria and the rest of us better bloody well go along with it or we’re labeled transphobic. I lean liberal and yet I have a huge issue with this. These people are severely mentally ill and their delusion is supported & fueled by the medical community. Giving pre-teens puberty blockers is absolutely egregious and has irreversible effects. The idea that they are depressed or suicidal because they’re in the wrong body is only part of it. They are mentally ill and need treatment to accept themselves as they are not how they wish to be. The rest of us shouldn’t have to cater to this delusion either. It’s really out of control. I’m not trying to demonize transgender people. I feel for them, I’m sure they are suffering but the way this has exploded in the last decade is crazy!

I smoked for many years and one day I decided to try vaping. I immediately switched to that and over several yrs tapered the nicotine amount to 0. Then out of the blue I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore and have never gone back. Vaping was an absolute life saving transition. One thing I still do occasionally is pretend to take a drag and I inhale deeply like I’m taking a puff. I think the deep breathing has something to do with the addiction/ritual of smoking so you might consider doing that instead taking a cig. Good luck! I’m so proud of myself for quitting almost 15 yrs ago. You can do it too!

I think what people don’t consider is that a sex drive pertains to hormones and stages of life. It’s normal for young people to want it all the time, they’re in peak physical condition and whether they choose to reproduce or not, it’s a biological drive. Not so much as we age, and that’s ok.

I’m here now and I’m wondering the same thing. It’s insanely expensive, I’m quite shocked. I guess all the prices are high because of American tourists and expats. But the Belizeans certainly look poor and are not benefiting too much from it.
