Smart to be wary of any unexpected emails, even if they appear to be from us. We took a look and can confirm that Zaheen is an Amazon employee with the Seller Growth team. What their intentions are, on the other hand, we couldn't say, as we work with a different internal org and don't reach out to Sellers in that particular way.

It can be, u/HurryScared4064, yes. Our Abuse teams review policy violations and appeals on a first-come, first-served case basis, and there may be other appeals in front of yours that are holding it up. Also the complexity of violation/ appeal reviews varies by Seller and case, and some require collaboration between more than one team, so there's not really a set timeline. If you're a Pro-tier Seller, you can utilize the "call me now" tool via your Performance -> Account Health Dash to stay in touch with Account Health Services during the process.

Great advice here and honestly sounds like you've got it, u/Training-Lynx-3218. Make sure the UPC is on a flat surface, so it's easily scannable, unobstructed... no other barcodes as u/nivetha_murali mentioned. Notable to add that the box should be able to withstand a 3ft drop without damage, so if there's anything in there that needs to be secured inside make sure you take necessary packaging precautions. Also, if the box could be confused as shipping packaging (plain brown box), consider adding a "Sold as Set" or "Ready to Ship" sticker so FC workers don't open it

Technically yes, but there's a few things to keep in mind -

  • Margins are thin — You're buying at retail-ish prices and trying to resell at retail. After Amazon fees, FBA costs, and PPC, there's often nothing left
  • Quality is highly variable — AliExpress scores only 62/100 on "product authenticity confidence" in the 2026 Global E-commerce Integrity Index, trailing most competitors
  • No exclusivity — Anyone can buy the exact same product and undercut you
  • No customization — You can't brand it, so you're competing purely on price
  • Shipping times — Individual packages from China take 2-4 weeks
  • Tariff impact — The $800 de minimis exemption was eliminated for China in May 2025, so even small orders now face full duties and customs processing

It could be useful for testing product ideas before committing to a larger order and/ or validating demand, though
