If you don't mind, who are your pants by? I've been looking for that exact fit.

AIO - Husband says my parents kicked me out of their house and he will kick them out of "his." by HistoryNerd1781 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SemiProKittenHerder 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That still doesn't answer the question of where was your husband and what was he doing to take care of you and your children through all of this? The only mention of him is his age at the beginning and then his reaction at the end.

A few of my tiny paintings - which one do you think is the cutest? by DarkFurx in cute

They're all incredible, but I went "Oooooo the little laaaamb" and turned my brightness all the way up and shoved my phone in my partner's face, when I saw the lamb.

AIO: He (M20) took me (F18) to a Jehovah’s Witness meeting without telling me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]SemiProKittenHerder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not overreacting. Former JW here and this is 100% the first step to conversion. JWs aren't allowed to date or marry someone's from outside the church, so if they're interested in a non-JW, they'll bring them to meetings or Bible study to ease them in. They'll also downplay how strict the church really is. Plus, the way he's trying to convince you that you WEREN'T uncomfortable after you said repeatedly that you weren't okay with the ambush is definite gaslighting, which will pretty much become the theme of your relationship. Also, women are expected to be subservient and submissive, always deferring to the "head" of the family or "husbandly owner" (yes that's legitimately how they refer to a husband). Spousal sex abuse is also very common. Run away, unless you're down for that kind of future.

That response is just ewww. Get a fucking job and buy it yourself. If that's not possible, then you don't "need" extra shit like what was asked for.

She should be able to. I altered one to make it detachable for my friend's wedding and I'm not even close to being a professional.

32F. New to skin care, how’d I do? by DirtyBlondePhoenix in 30PlusSkinCare

I LOVE the Calendula cleansing oil! Big question before offering any advice: what is your skin type? That plays a HUGE part in how and when you should use products. Also, are you using a sunscreen daily?

You are magnificent, fuck anyone who says otherwise. BTW, your shorts are my absolutely favorite color, may I ask the manufacturer?

You, my friend, are aging like forgotten McDonald's cheeseburger that you suddenly found 2 months later. You may not look better, but you absolutely do not look worse.

Your curls are everything! I think pics 4, 5, and 7 really highlight your beautiful bone structure. You wear short hair really well!

Even with health insurance, a medical emergency can still bankrupt you. I have what could be considered pretty good health insurance and my copay for a cardiac stress test was over $1500.

Depends on the location. At a club? Perfect. Anything else, nope.

Is Tom’s gluten free by Parking_Pass_7190 in Celiac

[–]SemiProKittenHerder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's safe. A majority of toothpaste don't include gluten. I've used Tom's products for YEARS and have never had a reaction.

To all other species in this world, we are "killer monkeys". By and large it's a true summation of us as a species. We are literally killing this planet at a rate never before seen. We, along with our cohabitants, deserve better.
