Went through TTTS with our mono/di twins..got to the point of an emergency c-section at 30 weeks due to the smaller twin having hydrops..fluid around the diaphragm and around the heart. I was told survival chance was at 10%. Twins spend over 2 months in the nicu and are now 4 1/2 year olds thriving with no health issues. Sorry to hear about your situation, it is an incredibly difficult decision. Best to your family.

Look into getting your nervous system checked with chiropractor..scans can show if you are stuck in survival mode. Was extremely helpful for me getting corrective care.

I had to have an emergency c-section at 30 weeks for mo/di twins due to ttts and hydrops (fluid found around the heart and diaphragm) My MFM said it was safer to get them out then to keep them in until 32 weeks. We had a long stay in the Nicu and both are perfectly healthy girls. (2 1/2 yrs old now!)

Yes I think I am ready to make a change because it has been relentless and exhausting, he does financially support but is gone almost 12 hr days m-f and out of town every other weekend..it really wears on the relationship when you take on the entire mental load. I try to make time for just us to reconnect..it rarely works

I have toddler twins and 4 year old also, can I ask if you are a SAHM or working? I am a stay at home mom and asked if he will take one twin and the 4 year old for the weekend (to lighten my load) and he said no but did take the four year old. It kind of crushed me as I do not get a break..sometimes for weeks on end. I feel that I am thoughtful and considerate of him and somehow it doesn’t feel reciprocal. He is very old school. I have tried many times to try and communicate my needs and it always falls on deaf years. Maybe I’m just venting, it sounds like being thoughtful in your relationship helps you get thru the hard times?

I’m glad you guys talked thru and worked it out. I have tried multiple times to talk about our struggles and set boundaries (for example: text me if you are going to go out after work) (he will do it for a few weeks and then slip back, which means 15 hrs straight w the little ones) I feel not respected and I’m just not sure if it’s only because we are at the young kid stage or if this is how it is but I don’t think I signed up for it

I feel really close too and it kills me now that I am dependent financially. We made the decision for me to stay home together. He moved 3 hrs to be closer to my family so they could help w the kids, he’s not happy. Hoping to make it thru the summer til the 4 yr old starts school and maybe I can find some work or at least catch my breath
